Psalms 30:1A Psalm. A song of the dedication of the house of David. I exalt Thee, O Jehovah, For Thou hast drawn me up, and hast not let mine enemies rejoice over me.I will extol you, Yahweh, for you have raised me up, And have not made my foes to rejoice over me.Unto the end, a psalm for David, in an ecstasy.A Psalm and Song, at the dedication of the house of David. I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
Psalms 30:2Jehovah my God, I have cried to Thee, And Thou dost heal me.Yahweh my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me.In thee, O Lord, have I hoped, Iet me never be confounded: deliver me in thy justice.O LORD my God, I cried to thee, and thou hast healed me.
Psalms 30:3Jehovah, Thou hast brought up from Sheol my soul, Thou hast kept me alive, From going down [to] the pit.Yahweh, you have brought up my soul from Sheol. You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.Bow down thy ear to me: make haste to deliver me. Be thou unto me a God, a protector, and a house of refuge, to save me.O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
Psalms 30:4Sing praise to Jehovah, ye His saints, And give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness,Sing praise to Yahweh, you saints of his. Give thanks to his holy name.For thou art my strength and my refuge; and for thy name's sake thou wilt lead me, and nourish me.Sing to the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
Psalms 30:5For a moment [is] in His anger, Life [is] in His good-will, At even remaineth weeping, and at morn singing.For his anger is but for a moment; His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, But joy comes in the morning.Thou wilt bring me out of this snare, which they have hidden for me: for thou art my protector.For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Psalms 30:6And I I have said in mine ease, `I am not moved to the age.As for me, I said in my prosperity, "I shall never be moved."Into thy hands I commend my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord, the God of truth.And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.
Psalms 30:7O Jehovah, in Thy good pleasure, Thou hast caused strength to remain for my mountain,` Thou hast hidden Thy face I have been troubled.You, Yahweh, when you favored me, made my mountain to stand strong. But when you hid your face, I was troubled.Thou hast hated them that regard vanities, to no purpose. But I have hoped in the Lord:LORD, by thy favor thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
Psalms 30:8Unto Thee, O Jehovah, I call, And unto Jehovah I make supplication.I cried to you, Yahweh. To Yahweh I made supplication:I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy. For thou best regarded my humility, thou hast saved my soul out of distresses.I cried to thee, O LORD; and to the LORD I made supplication.
Psalms 30:9`What gain [is] in my blood? In my going down unto corruption? Doth dust thank Thee? doth it declare Thy truth?"What profit is there in my destruction, if I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise you? Shall it declare your truth?And thou hast not shut me up in the hands of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a spacious place.What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?
Psalms 30:10Hear, O Jehovah, and favour me, O Jehovah, be a helper to me.`Hear, Yahweh, and have mercy on me. Yahweh, be my helper."Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am afflicted: my eye is troubled with wrath, my soul, and my belly:Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.
Psalms 30:11Thou hast turned my mourning to dancing for me, Thou hast loosed my sackcloth, And girdest me [with] joy.You have turned my mourning into dancing for me. You have removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness,For my life is wasted with grief: and my years in sighs. My strength is weakened through poverty and my bones are disturbed.Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
Psalms 30:12So that honour doth praise Thee, and is not silent, O Jehovah, my God, to the age I thank Thee!To the end that my heart may sing praise to you, and not be silent. Yahweh my God, I will give thanks to you forever. Psalm 31 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.I am become a reproach among all my enemies, and very much to my neighbours; and a fear to my acquaintance. They that saw me without fled from me.To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to thee for ever.
