| Psalms 5:1 | To the Overseer, `Concerning the Inheritances.` A Psalm of David. My sayings hear, O Jehovah, Consider my meditation. | Give ear to my words, Yahweh. | Psalms 5:2 | Be attentive to the voice of my cry, My king and my God, For unto Thee I pray habitually. | Listen to the voice of my cry, my King, and my God; For to you do I pray. | Give ear, O Lord, to my words, understand my cry. | Hearken to the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for to thee will I pray. |
| Psalms 5:3 | Jehovah, [at] morning Thou hearest my voice, [At] morning I set in array for Thee, And I look out. | Yahweh, in the morning shall you hear my voice. In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly. | Hearken to the voice of my prayer, O my King and my God. | My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer to thee, and will look up. |
| Psalms 5:4 | For not a God desiring wickedness [art] Thou, Evil inhabiteth Thee not. | For you are not a God who has pleasure in wickedness. Evil can't live with you. | For to thee will I pray: O Lord, in the morning thou shalt hear my voice. | For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. |

You hate all workers of iniquity. | In the morning I will stand before thee, and will see: because thou art not a God that willest iniquity. | The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. |
| Psalms 5:6 | Thou destroyest those speaking lies, A man of blood and deceit Jehovah doth abominate. | You will destroy those who speak lies. Yahweh abhors the blood-thirsty and deceitful man. | Neither shall the wicked dwell near thee: nor shall the unjust abide before thy eyes. | Thou shalt destroy them that speak falsehood: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man. |
| Psalms 5:7 | And I, in the abundance of Thy kindness, I enter Thy house, I bow myself toward Thy holy temple in Thy fear. | But as for me, in the abundance of your lovingkindness I will come into your house: I will bow toward your holy temple in reverence of you. | Thou hatest all the workers of iniquity: Thou wilt destroy all that speak a lie. The bloody and the deceitful man the Lord will abhor. | But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship towards thy holy temple. |

| Psalms 5:9 | For there is no stability in their mouth. Their heart [is] mischiefs, An open grave [is] their throat, Their tongue they make smooth. | For there is no faithfulness in their mouth. Their inward part is destruction. Their throat is an open tomb. They flatter with their tongue. | Conduct me, O Lord, in thy justice: because of my enemies, direct my way in thy sight. | For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulcher; they flatter with their tongue. |

Let them fall by their own counsels; Thrust them out in the multitude of their transgressions, For they have rebelled against you. | for there is no truth in their mouth; their heart is vain. | Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee. |
| Psalms 5:11 | And rejoice do all trusting in Thee, To the age they sing, and Thou coverest them over, And those loving Thy name exult in Thee. | But let all those who take refuge in you rejoice, Let them always shout for joy, because you defend them. Let them also who love your name be joyful in you. | Their throat is an open sepulchre: they dealt deceitfully with their tongues: judge them, O God. Let them fall from their devices: according to the multitude of their wickedness cast them out: for they have provoked thee, O Lord. | But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. |
