Psalms 92:1A Psalm. A Song for the sabbath-day. Good to give thanks to Jehovah, And to sing praises to Thy name, O Most High,It is a good thing to give thanks to Yahweh, To sing praises to your name, Most High;The Lord hath reigned, he is clothed with beauty: the Lord is clothed with strength, and hath girded himself. For he hath established the world which shall not be moved.A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to thy name, O Most High.
Psalms 92:2To declare in the morning Thy kindness, And Thy faithfulness in the nights.To proclaim your lovingkindness in the morning, And your faithfulness every night,Thy throne is prepared from of old: thou art from everlasting.To show forth thy loving-kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.
Psalms 92:3On ten strings and on psaltery, On higgaion, with harp.With the ten-stringed lute, with the harp, And with the melody of the lyre.The floods have lifted up, O Lord: the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods have lifted up their waves,Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
Psalms 92:4For Thou hast caused me to rejoice, O Jehovah, in Thy work, Concerning the works of Thy hands I sing.For you, Yahweh, have made me glad through your work. I will triumph in the works of your hands.with the noise of many waters. Wonderful are the surges of the sea: wonderful is the Lord on high.For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
Psalms 92:5How great have been Thy works, O Jehovah, Very deep have been Thy thoughts.How great are your works, Yahweh! Your thoughts are very deep.Thy testimonies are become exceedingly credible: holiness becometh thy house, O Lord, unto length of days.O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
Psalms 92:6A brutish man doth not know, And a fool understandeth not this;A senseless man doesn't know, Neither does a fool understand this:A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.
Psalms 92:7When the wicked flourish as a herb, And blossom do all workers of iniquity For their being destroyed for ever and ever!Though the wicked spring up as the grass, And all the evil-doers flourish, They will be destroyed forever.When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:
Psalms 92:8And Thou [art] high to the age, O Jehovah.But you, Yahweh, are on high forevermore.But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.
Psalms 92:9For, lo, Thine enemies, O Jehovah, For, lo, Thine enemies, do perish, Separate themselves do all workers of iniquity.For, behold, your enemies, Yahweh, For, behold, your enemies shall perish. All the evil-doers will be scattered.For lo, thy enemies, O LORD, for lo, thy enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
Psalms 92:10And Thou exaltest as a reem my horn, I have been anointed with fresh oil.But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox. I am anointed with fresh oil.But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
Psalms 92:11And mine eye looketh on mine enemies, Of those rising up against me, The evil doers, do mine ears hear.My eye has also seen my enemies, My ears have heard of the evil-doers who rise up against me.My eye also shall see my desire on my enemies, and my ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.
Psalms 92:12The righteous as a palm-tree flourisheth, As a cedar in Lebanon he groweth.The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Psalms 92:13Those planted in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of our God do flourish.They are planted in Yahweh's house. They will flourish in our God's courts.Those that are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
Psalms 92:14Still they bring forth in old age, Fat and flourishing are they,They will still bring forth fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green,They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
Psalms 92:15To declare that upright [is] Jehovah my rock, And there is no perverseness in Him!To show that Yahweh is upright. He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him. Psalm 93To show that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
