Exodus 37:1And Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood: two cubits and a half was the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half the height of it: And Bezalel made the ark of hard wood, two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide and a cubit and a half high;And Beseleel made also the ark of setim wood: it was two cubits and a half in length, and a cubit and a half in breadth, and the height was of one cubit and a half: and he overlaid it with the purest gold within and without.
Exodus 37:2and he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, and made a crown of gold to it round about. Plating it inside and out with the best gold, and putting an edge of gold all round it.And he made to it a crown of gold round about,
Exodus 37:3And he cast for it four rings of gold, in the four feet thereof; even two rings on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it. And he made four gold rings for its four angles, two on one side and two on the other,Casting four rings of gold at the four corners thereof: two rings in one side, and two in the other.
Exodus 37:4And he made staves of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold. And rods of the same wood plated with gold.And he made bars of setim wood, which he overlaid with gold,
Exodus 37:5And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the ark, to bear the ark. These rods he put in the rings at the sides of the ark, for lifting it.And he put them into the rings that were at the sides of the ark to carry it.
Exodus 37:6And he made a mercy-seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half [was] the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof. And he made the cover all of gold, two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide.He made also the propitiatory, that is, the oracle, of the purest gold, two cubits and a half in length, and a cubit and a half in breadth.
Exodus 37:7And he made two cherubim of gold; of beaten work made he them, at the two ends of the mercy-seat; And he made two winged ones, hammered out of one bit of gold, for the two ends of the cover;Two cherubims also of beaten gold, which he set on the two sides of the propitiatory:
Exodus 37:8one cherub at the one end, and one cherub at the other end: of one piece with the mercy-seat made he the cherubim at the two ends thereof. Placing one at one end and one at the other; the winged ones were part of the cover.One cherub in the top of one side, and the other cherub in the top of the other side: two cherubims at the two ends of the propitiatory,
Exodus 37:9And the cherubim spread out their wings on high, covering the mercy-seat with their wings, with their faces one to another; toward the mercy-seat were the faces of the cherubim. And their wings were stretched out over the cover; the faces of the winged ones were opposite one another and facing the cover.Spreading their wings, and covering the propitiatory, and looking one towards the other, and towards it.
Exodus 37:10And he made the table of acacia wood: two cubits [was] the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof: And he made the table of hard wood, two cubits long, a cubit wide and a cubit and a half high;He made also the table of setim wood, in length two cubits, and in breadth one cubit, and in height it was a cubit and a half.
Exodus 37:11and he overlaid it with pure gold, and made thereto a crown of gold round about. Plating it with the best gold and putting a gold edge all round it.And he overlaid it with the finest gold, and he made to it a golden ledge round about.
Exodus 37:12And he made unto it a border of a handbreadth round about, and made a golden crown to the border thereof round about. And he made a frame all round it about as wide as a man's hand, edged with gold all round.And to the ledge itself he made a polished crown of gold, of four fingers' breadth, and upon the same another golden crown.
Exodus 37:13And he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that were on the four feet thereof. And he made four gold rings, and put the rings at the angles of its four feet.And he cast four rings of gold, which he put in the four corners at each foot of the table,
Exodus 37:14Close by the border were the rings, the places for the staves to bear the table. The rings were fixed under the frame to take the rods with which the table was to be lifted.Over against the crown: and he put the bars into them, that the table might be carried.
Exodus 37:15And he made the staves of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold, to bear the table. The rods for lifting the table he made of hard wood plated with gold.And the bars also themselves he made of setim wood, and overlaid them with gold,
Exodus 37:16And he made the vessels which were upon the table, the dishes thereof, and the spoons thereof, and the bowls thereof, and the flagons thereof, wherewith to pour out, of pure gold. And all the table-vessels, the plates and spoons and basins and the cups for liquids, he made of the best gold.And the vessels for the divers uses of the table, dishes, bowls, and cups, and censers of pure gold, wherein the libations are to be offered.
Exodus 37:17And he made the candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work made he the candlestick, even its base, and its shaft; its cups, it knops, and its flowers, were of one piece with it: Then he made the support for the lights, all of the best gold; its base and its pillar were of hammered gold; its cups and buds and flowers were all made out of the same metal:He made also the candlestick of beaten work of the finest gold. From the shaft whereof its branches, its cups, and bowls, and lilies came out:
Exodus 37:18and there were six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof: It had six branches coming out from its sides, three from one side and three from the other;Six on the two sides: three branches on one side, and three on the other.
Exodus 37:19three cups made like almond-blossoms in one branch, a knop and a flower, and three cups made like almond-blossoms in the other branch, a knop and a flower: so for the six branches going out of the candlestick. Every branch having three cups made like almond flowers, every cup with a bud and a flower on all the branches;Three cups in manner of a nut on each branch, and bowls withal and lilies; and three cups of the fashion of a nut in another branch, and bowls withal and lilies. The work of the six branches that went out from the shaft of the candlestick was equal.
Exodus 37:20And in the candlestick were four cups made like almond-blossoms, the knops thereof, and the flowers thereof; And on its pillar, four cups like almond flowers, every one with its bud and its flower;And in the shaft itself were four cups after the manner of a nut, and bowls withal at every one, and lilies:
Exodus 37:21and a knop under two branches of one piece with it, and a knop under two branches of one piece with it, and a knop under two branches of one piece with it, for the six branches going out of it. And under every two branches a bud, made with the branch, for all six branches of it.And bowls under two branches in three places, which together make six branches going out from one shaft.
Exodus 37:22Their knops and their branches were of one piece with it: the whole of it was one beaten work of pure gold. The buds and the branches were made of the same metal, all together one complete work of the best hammered gold.So both the bowls, and the branches were of the same, all beaten work of the purest gold.
Exodus 37:23And he made the lamps thereof, seven, and the snuffers thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, of pure gold. And he made the seven vessels for the lights, and all the necessary instruments for it, of gold.He made also the seven lamps with their snuffers, and the vessels where the snuffings were to be put out, of the purest gold.
Exodus 37:24Of a talent of pure gold made he it, and all the vessels thereof. A talent of the best gold was used for the making of it and its vessels.The candlestick with all the vessels thereof weighed a talent of gold.
Exodus 37:25And he made the altar of incense of acacia wood: a cubit was the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, foursquare; and two cubits was the height thereof; the horns thereof were of one piece with it. And he made the altar for the burning of spices, using the same hard wood; it was square, a cubit long and a cubit wide and two cubits high; the horns made of the same.He made also the altar of incense of setim wood, being a cubit on every side foursquare, and in height two cubits: from the corners of which went out horns.
Exodus 37:26And he overlaid it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns of it: and he made unto it a crown of gold round about. The top and the sides and the horns were all plated with the best gold; and he put an edge of gold all round it.And he overlaid it with the purest gold, with its grate and the sides, and the horns.
Exodus 37:27And he made for it two golden rings under the crown thereof, upon the two ribs thereof, upon the two sides of it, for places for staves wherewith to bear it. And he made two gold rings, placing them on the two opposite sides under the edge, to take the rods for lifting it.And he made to it a crown of gold round about, and two golden rings under the crown at each side, that the bars might be put into them, and the altar be carried.
Exodus 37:28And he made the staves of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold. The rods he made of the same hard wood, plating them with gold.And the bars themselves he made also of setim wood, and overlaid them with plates of gold.
Exodus 37:29And he made the holy anointing oil, and the pure incense of sweet spices, after the art of the perfumer. And he made the holy oil and the perfume of sweet spices for burning, after the art of the perfume-maker.He compounded also the oil for the ointment of sanctification, and incense of the purest spices, according to the work of a perfumer.
