| Mark 16:1 | And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the [mother] of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him. | And when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene and Mary, the mother of James, and Salome, got spices, so that they might come and put them on him. | And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalen, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought sweet spices, that coming, they might anoint Jesus. |
| Mark 16:2 | And very early on the first day of the week, they come to the tomb when the sun was risen. | And very early after dawn on the first day of the week, they came at the time of the coming up of the sun to the place where the body had been put. | And very early in the morning, the first day of the week, they come to the sepulchre, the sun being now risen. |
| Mark 16:3 | And they were saying among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the tomb? | And they were saying among themselves, Who will get the stone rolled away from the door for us? | And they said one to another: Who shall roll us back the stone from the door of the sepulchre? |

So be it. | But they going forth preached every where: the Lord working withal, and confirming the word with signs that followed. |
