| John 16:1 | These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be caused to stumble. | I have said these things to you so that you may not be in doubt. | These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. |
| John 16:2 | They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the hour cometh, that whosoever killeth you shall think that he offereth service unto God. | They will put you out of the Synagogues: yes, the time is coming when whoever puts you to death will have the belief that he is doing God's pleasure. | They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. |
| John 16:3 | And these things will they do, because they have not known the Father, nor me. | They will do these things to you because they have not had knowledge of the Father or of me. | And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me. |

| John 16:7 | Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you. | But what I am saying is true: my going is for your good: for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. | Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. |

| John 16:19 | Jesus perceived that they were desirous to ask him, and he said unto them, Do ye inquire among yourselves concerning this, that I said, A little while, and ye behold me not, and again a little while, and ye shall see me? | Jesus saw that they had a desire to put the question to him, so he said to them, Is this what you are questioning one with another, why I said, After a little time, you will see me no longer; and then again, after a little time, you will see me? | Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me? |
