| Hosea 11:1 | When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt. | When Israel was a child he was dear to me; and I took my son out of Egypt. | When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt. |

My heart is turned in me, it is soft with pity. | How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? how shall I set thee as Zeboim? my heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together. |
| Hosea 11:9 | I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee; and I will not come in wrath. | I will not put into effect the heat of my wrath; I will not again send destruction on Ephraim; for I am God and not man, the Holy One among you; I will not put an end to you. | I will not execute the fierceness of my anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city. |
