Mark 7:3(For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands diligently, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders; Now the Pharisees, and all the Jews, do not take food without washing their hands with care, keeping the old rule which has been handed down to them:For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands often eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.

And when they come from the market-place, they take no food till their hands are washed; and a number of other orders there are, which have been handed down to them to keep washings of cups and pots and brass vessels.And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there are, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, and of brazen vessels, and tables.
Mark 7:5And the Pharisees and the scribes ask him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with defiled hands? Mark 7:6And he said unto them, Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoreth me with their lips, But their heart is far from me. And he said, Well did Isaiah say of you, you false ones: These people give me honour with their lips, but their heart is far from me.He answered and said to them, Well hath Isaiah prophesied concerning you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoreth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
Mark 7:7But in vain do they worship me, Teaching [as their] doctrines the precepts of men. But their worship is to no purpose, while they give as their teaching the rules of men.But, in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Mark 7:8Ye leave the commandment of God, and hold fast the tradition of men. For, turning away from the law of God, you keep the rules of men.For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
Mark 7:9And he said unto them, Full well do ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your tradition. And he said to them, Truly you put on one side the law of God, so that you may keep the rules which have been handed down to you.And he said to them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition,
Mark 7:10For Moses said, Honor thy father and thy mother; and, He that speaketh evil of father or mother, let him die the death: For Moses said, Give honour to your father and mother, and, He who says evil of father or mother, let him have the punishment of death:For Moses said, Honor thy father and thy mother; and, Whoever curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
Mark 7:11but ye say, If a man shall say to his father or his mother, That wherewith thou mightest have been profited by me is Corban, that is to say, Given [to God]; But you say, If a man says to his father or his mother, That by which you might have had profit from me is Corban, that is to say, Given to God,But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
Mark 7:12ye no longer suffer him to do aught for his father or his mother; You no longer let him do anything for his father or his mother;And ye suffer him no more to do aught for his father or his mother;
Mark 7:13making void the word of God by your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things ye do. Mark 7:15there is nothing from without the man, that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the man are those that defile the man. Mark 7:18And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Perceive ye not, that whatsoever from without goeth into the man, [it] cannot defile him; And he said to them, Have even you so little wisdom? Do you not see that whatever goes into a man from outside is not able to make him unclean,And he saith to them, Are ye so void of understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him.
Mark 7:19because it goeth not into his heart, but into his belly, and goeth out into the draught? [This he said], making all meats clean.
