| Leviticus 11:1 | And Jehovah spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them, | And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, | Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them, |
| Leviticus 11:2 | Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the living things which ye may eat among all the beasts that are on the earth. | Say to the children of Israel: These are the living things which you may have for food among all the beasts on the earth. | Speak to the children of Israel, saying, These are the living things which you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth. |
| Leviticus 11:3 | Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, [and] cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that may ye eat. | You may have as food any beast which has a division in the horn of its foot, and whose food comes back into its mouth to be crushed again. | Whatever parts the hoof, and is cloven-footed, [and] chews the cud, among the animals, that may you eat. |
