Matthew 13:4and as he sowed, some [seeds] fell by the way side, and the birds came and devoured them: and as he sowed, some [grains] fell along the way, and the birds came and devoured them; And whilst he soweth some fell by the way side, and the birds of the air came and ate them up.
Matthew 13:5and others fell upon the rocky places, where they had not much earth: and straightway they sprang up, because they had no deepness of earth: and others fell upon the rocky places where they had not much earth, and immediately they sprang up out of [the ground] because of not having [any] depth of earth,And other some fell upon stony ground, where they had not much earth: and they sprung up immediately, because they had no deepness of earth.
Matthew 13:6and when the sun was risen, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. but when the sun rose they were burned up, and because of not having [any] root were dried up;And when the sun was up they were scorched: and because they had not root, they withered away.
Matthew 13:7And others fell upon the thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked them: and others fell upon the thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them; And others fell among thorns: and the thorns grew up and choked them.
Matthew 13:8and others fell upon the good ground, and yielded fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. and others fell upon the good ground, and produced fruit, one a hundred, one sixty, and one thirty. And others fell upon good ground: and they brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, and some thirtyfold.
Matthew 13:9He that hath ears, let him hear. He that has ears, let him hear.He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Matthew 13:10And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? And the disciples came up and said to him, Why speakest thou to them in parables? And his disciples came and said to him: Why speakest thou to them in parables?
Matthew 13:11And he answered and said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. And he answering said to them, Because to you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of the heavens, but to them it is not given;Who answered and said to them: Because to you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven: but to them it is not given.
Matthew 13:12For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he hath. for whoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall be caused to be in abundance; but he who has not, even what he has shall be taken away from him.For he that hath, to him shall be given, and he shall abound: but he that hath not, from him shall be taken away that also which he hath.
Matthew 13:13Therefore speak I to them in parables; because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. For this cause I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear nor understand; Therefore do I speak to them in parables: because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
Matthew 13:14And unto them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall in no wise understand; And seeing ye shall see, and shall in no wise perceive: and in them is filled up the prophecy of Esaias, which says, Hearing ye shall hear and shall not understand, and beholding ye shall behold and not see;And the prophecy of Isaias is fulfilled in them, who saith: By hearing you shall hear, and shall not understand: and seeing you shall see, and shall not perceive.
Matthew 13:15For this people's heart is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of hearing, And their eyes they have closed; Lest haply they should perceive with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And should turn again, And I should heal them. for the heart of this people has grown fat, and they have heard heavily with their ears, and they have closed their eyes as asleep, lest they should see with the eyes, and hear with the ears, and understand with the heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. For the heart of this people is grown gross, and with their ears they have been dull of hearing, and their eyes they have shut: lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
Matthew 13:16But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear. But blessed are *your* eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear; But blessed are your eyes, because they see, and your ears, because they hear.
Matthew 13:17For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which ye see, and saw them not; and to hear the things which ye hear, and heard them not. for verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous [men] have desired to see the things which ye behold and did not see [them], and to hear the things which ye hear and did not hear [them].For, amen, I say to you, many prophets and just men have desired to see the things that you see, and have not seen them, and to hear the things that you hear and have not heard them.
Matthew 13:18Hear then ye the parable of the sower. *Ye*, therefore, hear the parable of the sower.Hear you therefore the parable of the sower.
Matthew 13:19When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, [then] cometh the evil [one], and snatcheth away that which hath been sown in his heart. This is he that was sown by the way side. From every one who hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand [it], the wicked one comes and catches away what was sown in his heart: this is he that is sown by the wayside. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, there cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart: this is he that received the seed by the way side.
Matthew 13:20And he that was sown upon the rocky places, this is he that heareth the word, and straightway with joy receiveth it; But he that is sown on the rocky places this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy,And he that received the seed upon stony ground, is he that heareth the word, and immediately receiveth it with joy.
Matthew 13:21yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while; and when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, straightway he stumbleth. but has no root in himself, but is for a time only; and when tribulation or persecution happens on account of the word, he is immediately offended.Yet hath he not root in himself, but is only for a time: and when there ariseth tribulation and persecution because of the word, he is presently scandalized.
Matthew 13:22And he that was sown among the thorns, this is he that heareth the word; and the care of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. And he that is sown among the thorns this is he who hears the word, and the anxious care of this life, and the deceit of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. And he that received the seed among thorns, is he that heareth the word, and the care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choketh up the word, and he becometh fruitless.
Matthew 13:23And he that was sown upon the good ground, this is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; who verily beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. But he that is sown upon the good ground this is he who hears and understands the word, who bears fruit also, and produces, one a hundred, one sixty, and one thirty. But he that received the seed upon good ground, is he that heareth the word, and understandeth, and beareth fruit, and yieldeth the one an hundredfold, and another sixty, and another thirty.
Matthew 13:24Another parable set he before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man that sowed good seed in his field: Another parable set he before them, saying, The kingdom of the heavens has become like a man sowing good seed in his field;Another parable he proposed to them, saying: The kingdom of heaven is likened to a man that sowed good seeds in his field.

And the bondmen said to him, Wilt thou then that we should go and gather it [up]?And he said to them: An enemy hath done this. And the servants said to him: Wilt thou that we go and gather it up?
Matthew 13:29But he saith, Nay; lest haply while ye gather up the tares, ye root up the wheat with them. But he said, No; lest [in] gathering the darnel ye should root up the wheat with it.And he said: No, lest perhaps gathering up the cockle, you root up the wheat also together with it.
Matthew 13:30Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather up first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn. Suffer both to grow together unto the harvest, and in time of the harvest I will say to the harvestmen, Gather first the darnel, and bind it into bundles to burn it; but the wheat bring together into my granary.Suffer both to grow until the harvest, and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers: Gather up first the cockle, and bind it into bundles to burn, but the wheat gather ye into my barn.
Matthew 13:31Another parable set he before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Another parable set he before them, saying, The kingdom of the heavens is like a grain of mustard [seed] which a man took and sowed in his field;Another parable he proposed unto them, saying: The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field.

Matthew 13:38and the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil [one]; and the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom, but the darnel are the sons of the evil [one];And the field, is the world. And the good seed are the children of the kingdom. And the cockle, are the children of the wicked one.
Matthew 13:39and the enemy that sowed them is the devil: and the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are angels. and the enemy who has sowed it is the devil; and the harvest is [the] completion of [the] age, and the harvestmen are angels. And the enemy that sowed them, is the devil. But the harvest is the end of the world. And the reapers are the angels.
