| Hebrews 10:1 | For the law having a shadow of the good [things] to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect them that draw nigh. | For the law, having a shadow of the coming good things, not the image itself of the things, can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually yearly, perfect those who approach. | For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. |
| Hebrews 10:2 | Else would they not have ceased to be offered? because the worshippers, having been once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins. | Since, would they not indeed have ceased being offered, on account of the worshippers once purged having no longer any conscience of sins? | For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. |
