Mark 11:1And when they draw nigh unto Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth two of his disciples, And when they draw near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sends two of his disciples,And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,
Mark 11:2and saith unto them, Go your way into the village that is over against you: and straightway as ye enter into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon no man ever yet sat; loose him, and bring him. and says to them, Go into the village which is over against you, and immediately on entering into it ye will find a colt tied, upon which no [child] of man has ever sat: loose it and lead it [here].And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.
Mark 11:3And if any one say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye, The Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him back hither. And if any one say to you, Why do ye this? say, The Lord has need of it; and straightway he sends it hither.And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.
Mark 11:4And they went away, and found a colt tied at the door without in the open street; and they loose him. And they departed, and found a colt bound to the door without at the crossway, and they loose him.And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.
Mark 11:5And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt? And some of those who stood there said to them, What are ye doing, loosing the colt?And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?
Mark 11:6And they said unto them even as Jesus had said: and they let them go. And they said to them as Jesus had commanded. And they let them [do it].And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.
Mark 11:7And they bring the colt unto Jesus, and cast on him their garments; and he sat upon him. And they led the colt to Jesus, and cast their clothes upon it, and he sat on it;And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.
Mark 11:8And many spread their garments upon the way; and others branches, which they had cut from the fields. and many strewed their clothes on the way, and others cut down branches from the trees [and went on strewing them on the way].And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.
Mark 11:9And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, Hosanna; Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord: And those going on before and those following cried out, Hosanna! blessed [be] he that comes in [the] Lord's name.And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
Mark 11:10Blessed [is] the kingdom that cometh, [the kingdom] of our father David: Hosanna in the highest. Blessed [be] the coming kingdom of our father David. Hosanna in the highest!Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.
Mark 11:11And he entered into Jerusalem, into the temple; and when he had looked round about upon all things, it being now eventide, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve. And he entered into Jerusalem and into the temple; and having looked round on all things, the hour being already late, he went out to Bethany with the twelve.And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.
Mark 11:12And on the morrow, when they were come out from Bethany, he hungered. And on the morrow, when they were gone out of Bethany, he hungered.And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:
Mark 11:13And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for it was not the season of figs. And seeing from afar off a fig-tree which had leaves, he came, if perhaps he might find something on it. And having come up to it he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the time of figs.And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
Mark 11:14And he answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit from thee henceforward for ever. And his disciples heard it. And answering he said to it, Let no one eat fruit of thee any more for ever. And his disciples heard [it].And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.
Mark 11:15And they come to Jerusalem: and he entered into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and them that bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them that sold the doves; And they come to Jerusalem, and entering into the temple, he began to cast out those who sold and who bought in the temple, and he overthrew the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of the dove-sellers,And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
Mark 11:16and he would not suffer that any man should carry a vessel through the temple. and suffered not that any one should carry any package through the temple.And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.
Mark 11:17And he taught, and said unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations? but ye have made it a den of robbers. And he taught saying to them, Is it not written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations? but *ye* have made it a den of robbers.And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Mark 11:18And the chief priests and the scribes heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, for all the multitude was astonished at his teaching. And the chief priests and the scribes heard [it], and they sought how they might destroy him; for they feared him, because all the crowd were astonished at his doctrine.And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.
Mark 11:19And every evening he went forth out of the city. And when it was evening he went forth without the city.And when even was come, he went out of the city.
Mark 11:20And as they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away from the roots. And passing by early in the morning they saw the fig-tree dried up from the roots.And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
Mark 11:21And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Rabbi, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. And Peter, remembering [what Jesus had said], says to him, Rabbi, see, the fig-tree which thou cursedst is dried up.And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
Mark 11:22And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. And Jesus answering says to them, Have faith in God.And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
Mark 11:23Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it. Verily I say to you, that whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be thou taken away and cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but believe that what he says takes place, whatever he shall say shall come to pass for him.For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Mark 11:24Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. For this reason I say to you, All things whatsoever ye pray for and ask, believe that ye receive it, and it shall come to pass for you.Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Mark 11:25And whensoever ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any one; that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. And when ye stand praying, forgive if ye have anything against any one, that your Father also who is in the heavens may forgive you your offences.And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Mark 11:26[But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your trespasses.] But if *ye* do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in the heavens forgive your offences.But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Mark 11:27And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders; And they come again to Jerusalem. And as he walked about in the temple, the chief priests and the scribes and the elders come to him,And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,
Mark 11:28and they said unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? or who gave thee this authority to do these things? and they say to him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority, that thou shouldest do these things?And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?
Mark 11:29And Jesus said unto them, I will ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. And Jesus answering said to them, *I* also will ask you one thing, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things:And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
Mark 11:30The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men? answer me. The baptism of John, was it of heaven, or of men? answer me.The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me.
Mark 11:31And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; He will say, Why then did ye not believe him? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we should say, Of heaven, he will say, Why [then] have ye not believed him?And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?
Mark 11:32But should we say, From men--they feared the people: for all verily held John to be a prophet. but should we say, Of men they feared the people; for all held of John that he was truly a prophet.But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.
Mark 11:33And they answered Jesus and say, We know not. And Jesus saith unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things. And they answering say to Jesus, We do not know. And Jesus [answering] says to them, Neither do *I* tell you by what authority I do these things.And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
