Philippians 2:1If there is therefore any exhortation in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassions, If then [there be] any comfort in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of [the] Spirit, if any bowels and compassions,If there is therefore any exhortation in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassion,
Philippians 2:2make full my joy, that ye be of the same mind, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind; fulfil my joy, that ye may think the same thing, having the same love, joined in soul, thinking one thing;make my joy full, that you be of the same mind, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind;
Philippians 2:3[doing] nothing through faction or through vainglory, but in lowliness of mind each counting other better than himself; [let] nothing [be] in the spirit of strife or vain glory, but, in lowliness of mind, each esteeming the other as more excellent than themselves;doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself;
Philippians 2:4not looking each of you to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others. regarding not each his own [qualities], but each those of others also.each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.
Philippians 2:5Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: For let this mind be in you which [was] also in Christ Jesus;Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus,
Philippians 2:6who, existing in the form of God, counted not the being on an equality with God a thing to be grasped, who, subsisting in the form of God, did not esteem it an object of rapine to be on an equality with God;who, existing in the form of God, didn't consider it robbery to be equal with God,
Philippians 2:7but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men; but emptied himself, taking a bondman's form, taking his place in [the] likeness of men;but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men.
Philippians 2:8and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient [even] unto death, yea, the death of the cross. and having been found in figure as a man, humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, and [that the] death of [the] cross.Being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross.
Philippians 2:9Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and gave unto him the name which is above every name; Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and granted him a name, that which is above every name,Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name;
Philippians 2:10that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven and [things] on earth and [things] under the earth, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of heavenly and earthly and infernal [beings],that at the name of Jesus every knee would bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth,
Philippians 2:11and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord to God [the] Father's glory.and that every tongue would confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God, the Father.
Philippians 2:12So then, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; So that, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much rather in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,So then, my beloved, even as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Philippians 2:13for it is God who worketh in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure. for it is God who works in you both the willing and the working according to [his] good pleasure.For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.
Philippians 2:14Do all things without murmurings and questionings: Do all things without murmurings and reasonings,Do all things without murmurings and disputes,
Philippians 2:15that ye may become blameless and harmless, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom ye are seen as lights in the world, that ye may be harmless and simple, irreproachable children of God in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation; among whom ye appear as lights in [the] world,that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world,
Philippians 2:16holding forth the word of life; that I may have whereof to glory in the day of Christ, that I did not run in vain neither labor in vain. holding forth [the] word of life, so as to be a boast for me in Christ's day, that I have not run in vain nor laboured in vain.holding up the word of life; that I may have something to boast in the day of Christ, that I didn't run in vain nor labor in vain.
Philippians 2:17Yea, and if I am offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all: But if also I am poured out as a libation on the sacrifice and ministration of your faith, I rejoice, and rejoice in common with you all.Yes, and if I am poured out on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice, and rejoice with you all.
Philippians 2:18and in the same manner do ye also joy, and rejoice with me. In like manner do *ye* also rejoice, and rejoice with me.In the same way, you also rejoice, and rejoice with me.
Philippians 2:19But I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state. But I hope in [the] Lord Jesus to send Timotheus to you shortly, that *I* also may be refreshed, knowing how ye get on.But I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be cheered up when I know how you are doing.
Philippians 2:20For I have no man likeminded, who will care truly for your state. For I have no one like-minded who will care with genuine feeling how ye get on.For I have no one else like-minded, who will truly care about you.
Philippians 2:21For they all seek their own, not the things of Jesus Christ. For all seek their own things, not the things of Jesus Christ.For they all seek their own, not the things of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 2:22But ye know the proof of him, that, as a child [serveth] a father, [so] he served with me in furtherance of the gospel. But ye know the proof of him, that, as a child a father, he has served with me in the work of the glad tidings.But you know the proof of him, that, as a child serves a father, so he served with me in furtherance of the gospel.
Philippians 2:23Him therefore I hope to send forthwith, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me: Him therefore I hope to send immediately, as soon as I shall see how it goes with me:Therefore I hope to send him at once, as soon as I see how it will go with me.
Philippians 2:24but I trust in the Lord that I myself also shall come shortly. but I trust in [the] Lord that I myself also shall soon come;But I trust in the Lord that I myself also will come shortly.
Philippians 2:25But I counted it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow-worker and fellow-soldier, and your messenger and minister to my need; but I have thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow-workman and fellow-soldier, but your messenger and minister to my need,But I counted it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, fellow worker, fellow soldier, and your messenger and minister to my need;
Philippians 2:26since he longed after you all, and was sore troubled, because ye had heard that he was sick: since he had a longing desire after you all, and was distressed because ye had heard that he was sick;since he longed for you all, and was very troubled, because you had heard that he was sick.
Philippians 2:27for indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, that I might not have sorrow upon sorrow. for he was also sick close to death, but God had mercy on him, and not indeed on him alone, but also on me, that I might not have sorrow upon sorrow.For indeed he was sick, nearly to death, but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, that I might not have sorrow on sorrow.
Philippians 2:28I have sent him therefore the more diligently, that, when ye see him again, ye may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful. I have sent him therefore the more diligently, that seeing him ye might again rejoice, and that *I* might be the less sorrowful.I have sent him therefore the more diligently, that, when you see him again, you may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.
Philippians 2:29Receive him therefore in the Lord with all joy; and hold such in honor: Receive him therefore in [the] Lord with all joy, and hold such in honour;Receive him therefore in the Lord with all joy, and hold such in honor,
Philippians 2:30because for the work of Christ he came nigh unto death, hazarding his life to supply that which was lacking in your service toward me. because for the sake of the work he drew near even to death, venturing his life that he might fill up what lacked in your ministration toward me.because for the work of Christ he came near to death, risking his life to supply that which was lacking in your service toward me.
