| Deuteronomy 15:1 | At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release. | In the seventh year thou shalt make a remission, | At the end of every seven years you shall make a release. |
| Deuteronomy 15:2 | And this is the manner of the release: every creditor shall release that which he hath lent unto his neighbor; he shall not exact it of his neighbor and his brother; because Jehovah's release hath been proclaimed. | Which shall be celebrated in this order. He to whom any thing is owing from his friend or neighbour or brother, cannot demand it again, because it is the year of remission of the Lord, | This is the manner of the release: every creditor shall release that which he has lent to his neighbor; he shall not exact it of his neighbor and his brother; because Yahweh's release has been proclaimed. |

| Deuteronomy 15:8 | but thou shalt surely open thy hand unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need [in that] which he wanteth. | But shalt open it to the poor man, thou shalt lend him, that which thou perceivest he hath need of. | but you shall surely open your hand to him, and shall surely lend him sufficient for his need [in that] which he wants. |

| Deuteronomy 15:14 | thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy threshing-floor, and out of thy winepress; as Jehovah thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him. | But shalt give him for his way out of thy flocks, and out of thy barnfloor, and thy winepress, wherewith the Lord thy God shall bless thee. | you shall furnish him liberally out of your flock, and out of your threshing floor, and out of your winepress; as Yahweh your God has blessed you, you shall give to him. |

And also unto thy maid-servant thou shalt do likewise. | Thou shalt take an awl, and bore through his ear in the door of thy house, and he shall serve thee for ever: thou shalt do in like manner to thy womanservant also. | then you shall take an awl, and thrust it through his ear to the door, and he shall be your servant forever.
