Mark 4:1 | And again he began to teach by the sea side. And there is gathered unto him a very great multitude, so that he entered into a boat, and sat in the sea; and all the multitude were by the sea on the land. | And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land. | And again he began to teach by the sea. And a great crowd was gathered together to him, so that going on board ship he sat in the sea, and all the crowd were close to the sea on the land. |
Mark 4:2 | And he taught them many things in parables, and said unto them in his teaching, | And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine, | And he taught them many things in parables. And he said to them in his doctrine, |
Mark 4:3 | Hearken: Behold, the sower went forth to sow: | Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow: | Hearken: Behold, the sower went forth to sow. |
Mark 4:4 | and it came to pass, as he sowed, some [seed] fell by the way side, and the birds came and devoured it. | And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up. | And it came to pass as he sowed, one fell by the wayside, and the birds came and devoured it. |
Mark 4:5 | And other fell on the rocky [ground], where it had not much earth; and straightway it sprang up, because it had no deepness of earth: | And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: | And another fell on the rocky ground, where it had not much earth, and immediately it sprung up out [of the ground] because it had no depth of earth; |
Mark 4:6 | and when the sun was risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. | But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. | and when the sun arose it was burnt up, and because of its not having any root, it withered. |

Mark 4:21 | And he said unto them, Is the lamp brought to be put under the bushel, or under the bed, [and] not to be put on the stand? | And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick? | And he said to them, Does the lamp come that it should be put under the bushel or under the couch? [Is it] not that it should be set upon the lamp-stand? |
Mark 4:22 | For there is nothing hid, save that it should be manifested; neither was [anything] made secret, but that it should come to light. | For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad. | For there is nothing hidden which shall not be made manifest; nor does any secret thing take place, but that it should come to light. |

Mark 4:31 | It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown upon the earth, though it be less than all the seeds that are upon the earth, | It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: | As to a grain of mustard [seed], which, when it is sown upon the earth, is less than all seeds which are upon the earth, |

Mark 4:36 | And leaving the multitude, they take him with them, even as he was, in the boat. Mark 4:37 | And there ariseth a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the boat, insomuch that the boat was now filling. | And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. | And there comes a violent gust of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it already filled. |
Mark 4:38 | And he himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion: and they awake him, and say unto him, Teacher, carest thou not that we perish? | And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? | And *he* was in the stern sleeping on the cushion. And they awake him up and say to him, Teacher, dost thou not care that we are perishing? |
Mark 4:39 | And he awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. | And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. | And awaking up he rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Silence; be mute. And the wind fell, and there was a great calm. |
Mark 4:40 | And he said unto them, Why are ye fearful? have ye not yet faith? | And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? | And he said to them, Why are ye [thus] fearful? how [is it] ye have not faith? |
