| Romans 5:1 | Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; | Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: | Standing then acquitted as the result of faith, let us enjoy peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, |
| Romans 5:2 | through whom also we have had our access by faith into this grace wherein we stand; and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. | By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. | through whom also, as the result of faith, we have obtained an introduction into that state of favour with God in which we stand, and we exult in hope of some day sharing in God's glory. |

| Romans 5:16 | And not as through one that sinned, [so] is the gift: for the judgment [came] of one unto condemnation, but the free gift [came] of many trespasses unto justification. | And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. | And it is not with the gift as it was with the results of one individual's sin; for the judgement which one individual provoked resulted in condemnation, whereas the free gift after a multitude of transgressions results in acquittal. |
