| John 17:1 | These things spake Jesus; and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that the son may glorify thee: | When Jesus had thus spoken, He raised his eyes towards Heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come. Glorify Thy Son that the Son may glorify Thee; | These things Jesus spoke, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said: Father, the hour is come, glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee. |
| John 17:2 | even as thou gavest him authority over all flesh, that to all whom thou hast given him, he should give eternal life. | even as Thou hast given Him authority over all mankind, so that on all whom Thou hast given Him He may bestow the Life of the Ages. | As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he may give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him. |
