Acts 3:1 | Now Peter and John were going up to the Temple at the ninth hour, the hour of prayer; | And Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, [which is] the ninth [hour]; | Now Peter and John went up into the temple at the ninth hour of prayer. |
Acts 3:2 | And a certain man who from birth had had no power in his legs, was taken there every day, and put down at the door of the Temple which is named Beautiful, requesting money from those who went into the Temple; | and a certain man who was lame from his mother's womb was being carried, whom they placed every day at the gate of the temple called Beautiful, to ask alms of those who were going into the temple; | And a certain man who was lame from his mother's womb, was carried: whom they laid every day at the gate of the temple, which is called Beautiful, that he might ask alms of them that went into the temple. |
Acts 3:3 | He then, seeing Peter and John going into the Temple, made a request to them. | who, seeing Peter and John about to enter into the temple, asked to receive alms. | He, when he had seen Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked to receive an alms. |
Acts 3:4 | And Peter, looking at him, with John, said, Keep your eyes on us. | And Peter, looking stedfastly upon him with John, said, Look on us. | But Peter with John fastening his eyes upon him, said: Look upon us. |
Acts 3:5 | And he gave attention to them, hoping to get something from them. | And he gave heed to them, expecting to receive something from them. | But he looked earnestly upon them, hoping that he should receive something of them. |
Acts 3:6 | But Peter said, I have no silver or gold, but what I have, that I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up on your feet. | But Peter said, Silver and gold I have not; but what I have, this give I to thee: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazaraean rise up and walk. | But Peter said: Silver and gold I have none; but what I have, I give thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, arise, and walk. |
Acts 3:7 | And he took him by his right hand, lifting him up; and straight away his feet and the bones of his legs became strong, | And having taken hold of him [by] the right hand he raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones were made strong. | And taking him by the right hand, he lifted him up, and forthwith his feet and soles received strength. |
Acts 3:8 | And, jumping up, he got on to his feet and went into the Temple with them, walking and jumping and giving praise to God. | And leaping up he stood and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. | And he leaping up, stood, and walked, and went in with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. |

Acts 3:12 | And when Peter saw it he said to the people, You men of Israel, why are you so greatly surprised at this man? or why are you looking at us as if by our power or virtue we had given him the use of his legs? | And Peter, seeing it, answered the people, Men of Israel, why are ye astonished at this? or why do ye gaze on us as if we had by our own power or piety made him to walk? | But Peter seeing, made answer to the people: Ye men of Israel, why wonder you at this? or why look you upon us, as if by our strength or power we had made this man to walk? |
Acts 3:13 | The God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, has given glory to his servant Jesus; whom you gave up, turning your backs on him, when Pilate had made the decision to let him go free. | The God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus, whom *ye* delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when *he* had judged that he should be let go. | The God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus, whom you indeed delivered up and denied before the face of Pilate, when he judged he should be released. |
Acts 3:14 | But you would have nothing to do with the Holy and Upright One, and made request for a man of blood to be given to you, | But *ye* denied the holy and righteous one, and asked that a man [that was] a murderer should be granted to you; | But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you. |
Acts 3:15 | And put to death the Lord of life; whom God gave back from the dead; of which fact we are witnesses. | but the originator of life ye slew, whom God raised from among [the] dead, whereof *we* are witnesses. | But the author of life you killed, whom God hath raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses. |
Acts 3:16 | And his name, through faith in his name, has made this man strong, whom you see and have knowledge of: yes, the faith which is through him has made him well, before you all. | And, by faith in his name, his name has made this [man] strong whom ye behold and know; and the faith which is by him has given him this complete soundness in the presence of you all. | And in the faith of his name, this man, whom you have seen and known, hath his name strengthened; and the faith which is by him, hath given this perfect soundness in the sight of you all. |
Acts 3:17 | And now, my brothers, I am conscious that you did this, as did your rulers, without knowledge. | And now, brethren, I know that ye did it in ignorance, as also your rulers; | And now, brethren, I know that you did it through ignorance, as did also your rulers. |
Acts 3:18 | But the things which God had made clear before, by the mouth of all the prophets, that the Christ would have to undergo, he has put into effect in this way. | but God has thus fulfilled what he had announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ should suffer. | But those things which God before had shewed by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. |
Acts 3:19 | So then, let your hearts be changed and be turned to God, so that your sins may be completely taken away, and times of blessing may come from the Lord; | Repent therefore and be converted, for the blotting out of your sins, so that times of refreshing may come from [the] presence of the Lord, | Be penitent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out. |
Acts 3:20 | And that he may send the Christ who was marked out for you from the first, even Jesus: | and he may send Jesus Christ, who was foreordained for you, | That when the times of refreshment shall come from the presence of the Lord, and he shall send him who hath been preached unto you, Jesus Christ, |
Acts 3:21 | Who is to be kept in heaven till the time when all things are put right, of which God has given word by the mouth of his holy prophets, who have been from the earliest times. | whom heaven indeed must receive till [the] times of [the] restoring of all things, of which God has spoken by the mouth of his holy prophets since time began. | Whom heaven indeed must receive, until the times of the restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of his holy prophets, from the beginning of the world. |
Acts 3:22 | For Moses said, The Lord will give you a prophet from among your people, like me; you will give ear to everything which he will say to you. | Moses indeed said, A prophet shall [the] Lord your God raise up to you out of your brethren like me: him shall ye hear in everything whatsoever he shall say to you. | For Moses said: A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me: him you shall hear according to all things whatsoever he shall speak to you. |
Acts 3:23 | And every soul who does not give attention to that prophet, will be cut off from among the people. | And it shall be that whatsoever soul shall not hear that prophet shall be destroyed from among the people. | And it shall be, that every soul which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. |
Acts 3:24 | And all the prophets from Samuel and those who came after, every one of them, gave word of these days. | And indeed all the prophets from Samuel and those in succession after [him], as many as have spoken, have announced also these days. | And all the prophets, from Samuel and afterwards, who have spoken, have told of these days. |
Acts 3:25 | You are the sons of the prophets, and of the agreement which God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, Through your seed a blessing will come on all the families of the earth. | *Ye* are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God appointed to our fathers, saying to Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. | You are the children of the prophets, and of the testament which God made to our fathers, saying to Abraham: And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. |
Acts 3:26 | To you, first, God sent his servant, blessing you by turning every one of you from his sins. | To you first God, having raised up his servant, has sent him, blessing you in turning each one [of you] from your wickedness. | To you first God, raising up his Son, hath sent him to bless you; that every one may convert himself from his wickedness. |
