| Deuteronomy 22:1 | If you see your brother's ox or his sheep wandering, do not go by without helping, but take them back to your brother. | Thou shalt not see thy brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them back unto thy brother. | You shall not see your brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide yourself from them: you shall surely bring them again to your brother. |
| Deuteronomy 22:2 | If their owner is not near, or if you are not certain who he is, then take the beast to your house and keep it till its owner comes in search of it, and then you are to give it back to him. | And if thy brother be not near unto thee, and thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thy house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou shalt restore it unto him. | If your brother isn't near to you, or if you don't know him, then you shall bring it home to your house, and it shall be with you until your brother seek after it, and you shall restore it to him. |
| Deuteronomy 22:3 | Do the same with his ass or his robe or anything which has gone from your brother's keeping and which you have come across: do not keep it to yourself. | And so shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his clothing; and so shalt thou do with everything that is lost of thy brother, which he loseth, and thou findest: thou mayest not hide thyself. | So shall you do with his donkey; and so shall you do with his garment; and so shall you do with every lost thing of your brother's, which he has lost, and you have found: you may not hide yourself. |

| Deuteronomy 22:5 | It is not right for a woman to be dressed in man's clothing, or for a man to put on a woman's robe: whoever does such things is disgusting to the Lord your God. | There shall not be a man's apparel on a woman, neither shall a man put on a woman's clothing; for whoever doeth so is an abomination to Jehovah thy God. | A woman shall not wear that which pertains to a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment; for whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh your God. |
| Deuteronomy 22:6 | If by chance you see a place which a bird has made for itself in a tree or on the earth, with young ones or eggs, and the mother bird seated on the young ones or on the eggs, do not take the mother bird with the young: | If a bird's nest chance to be before thee in the way, in any tree, or upon the ground, with young or with eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young: | If a bird's nest chance to be before you in the way, in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs, and the hen sitting on the young, or on the eggs, you shall not take the hen with the young: |
| Deuteronomy 22:7 | See that you let the mother bird go, but the young ones you may take; so it will be well for you and your life will be long. | thou shalt in any case let the dam go, and thou mayest take the young to thee, that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days. | you shall surely let the hen go, but the young you may take to yourself; that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days. |
| Deuteronomy 22:8 | If you are building a house, make a railing for the roof, so that the blood of any man falling from it will not come on your house. | When thou buildest a new house, thou shalt make a parapet for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thy house, if any one should in any wise fall from it. | When you build a new house, then you shall make a battlement for your roof, that you don't bring blood on your house, if any man fall from there. |
| Deuteronomy 22:9 | Do not have your vine-garden planted with two sorts of seed: or all of it may become a loss, the seed you have put in as well as the increase. | Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with [seed of] two sorts, lest the whole of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the produce of thy vineyard, be forfeited. | You shall not sow your vineyard with two kinds of seed, lest the whole fruit be forfeited, the seed which you have sown, and the increase of the vineyard. |
| Deuteronomy 22:10 | Do not do your ploughing with an ox and an ass yoked together. | Thou shalt not plough with an ox and an ass together. | You shall not plow with an ox and a donkey together. |
| Deuteronomy 22:11 | Do not have clothing made of two sorts of thread, wool and linen together. | Thou shalt not wear a garment of mixed material, [woven] of wool and linen together. | You shall not wear a mingled stuff, wool and linen together. |
| Deuteronomy 22:12 | On the four edges of your robe, with which your body is covered, put ornaments of twisted threads. | Tassels shalt thou make thee on the four corners of thy clothing, wherewith thou coverest thyself. | You shall make you fringes on the four borders of your cloak, with which you cover yourself. |
| Deuteronomy 22:13 | If any man takes a wife, and having had connection with her, has no delight in her, | If a man take a wife, and go in unto her and hate her, | If any man take a wife, and go in to her, and hate her, |
| Deuteronomy 22:14 | And says evil things about her and gives her a bad name, saying, I took this woman, and when I had connection with her it was clear to me that she was not a virgin: | and charge her with things for scandalous talk, and cause an evil name against her to be spread abroad, and say, This woman have I taken, and I came in unto her, and I did not find her a virgin; | and lay shameful things to her charge, and bring up an evil name on her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came near to her, I didn't find in her the tokens of virginity; |
| Deuteronomy 22:15 | Then let the girl's father and mother put before the responsible men of the town, in the public place, signs that the girl was a virgin: | then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate; | then shall the father of the young lady, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the young lady's virginity to the elders of the city in the gate; |
| Deuteronomy 22:16 | And let the girl's father say to the responsible men, I gave my daughter to this man for his wife, but he has no love for her; | and the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man as wife, and he hates her; | and the young lady's father shall tell the elders, I gave my daughter to this man to wife, and he hates her; |
| Deuteronomy 22:17 | And now he has put shame on her, saying that she is not a virgin; but here is the sign that she is a virgin. Then they are to put her clothing before the responsible men of the town. | and behold, he charges her with things for scandalous talk, saying, I found not thy daughter a virgin; and here are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. | and, behold, he has laid shameful things [to her charge], saying, I didn't find in your daughter the tokens of virginity; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. They shall spread the garment before the elders of the city. |

| Deuteronomy 22:19 | They will take from him a hundred shekels of silver, which are to be given to the father of the girl, because he has given an evil name to a virgin of Israel: she will go on being his wife, he may never put her away all his life. | and they shall fine him a hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath caused an evil name to be spread abroad against a virgin in Israel. And she shall remain his wife: he may not put her away all his days. | and they shall fine him one hundred [shekels] of silver, and give them to the father of the young lady, because he has brought up an evil name on a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days. |
| Deuteronomy 22:20 | But if what he has said is true, and she is seen to be not a virgin, | But if this thing is true, [and] virginity hath not been found with the damsel; | But if this thing be true, that the tokens of virginity were not found in the young lady; |
| Deuteronomy 22:21 | Then they are to make the girl come to the door of her father's house and she will be stoned to death by the men of the town, because she has done evil and put shame on Israel, by acting as a loose woman in her father's house: so you are to put away evil from among you. | then they shall bring out the damsel unto the entrance of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought infamy in Israel, committing fornication in her father's house; and thou shalt put evil away from thy midst. | then they shall bring out the young lady to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with stones, because she has done folly in Israel, to play the prostitute in her father's house: so shall you put away the evil from the midst of you. |
| Deuteronomy 22:22 | If a man is taken in the act of going in to a married woman, the two of them, the man as well as the woman, are to be put to death: so you are to put away the evil from Israel. | If a man be found lying with a man's wife, they shall both of them die, the man that lay with the woman, and the woman; and thou shalt put away evil from Israel. | If a man be found lying with a woman married to a husband, then they shall both of them die, the man who lay with the woman, and the woman: so shall you put away the evil from Israel. |
| Deuteronomy 22:23 | If a young virgin has given her word to be married to a man, and another man meeting her in the town, has connection with her; | If a damsel, a virgin, be betrothed to some one, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her, | If there be a young lady who is a virgin pledged to be married to a husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; |
| Deuteronomy 22:24 | Then you are to take the two of them to the doorway of the town, and have them stoned to death; the young virgin, because she gave no cry for help, though it was in the town, and the man, because he has put shame on his neighbour's wife: so you are to put away evil from among you. | then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, [being] in the city, and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife; and thou shalt put evil away from thy midst. | then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them to death with stones; the lady, because she didn't cry, being in the city; and the man, because he has humbled his neighbor's wife: so you shall put away the evil from the midst of you. |
| Deuteronomy 22:25 | But if the man, meeting such a virgin in the open country, takes her by force, then only the man is to be put to death; | But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her, then the man only that lay with her shall die; | But if the man find the lady who is pledged to be married in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her; then the man only who lay with her shall die: |
| Deuteronomy 22:26 | Nothing is to be done to the virgin, because there is no cause of death in her: it is the same as if a man made an attack on his neighbour and put him to death: | and unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing: there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death; for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and murdereth him, so is this matter; | but to the lady you shall do nothing; there is in the lady no sin worthy of death: for as when a man rises against his neighbor, and kills him, even so is this matter; |
| Deuteronomy 22:27 | For he came across her in the open country, and there was no one to come to the help of the virgin in answer to her cry. | for he found her in the field, the betrothed damsel cried, and there was no one to save her. | for he found her in the field, the pledged to be married lady cried, and there was none to save her. |
