| Matthew 18:1 | In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven? | At that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying: Who thinkest thou is the greater in the kingdom of heaven? | In that hour came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven? |
| Matthew 18:2 | And he took a little child, and put him in the middle of them, | And Jesus calling unto him a little child, set him in the midst of them, | And he called to him a little child, and set him in the midst of them, |
| Matthew 18:3 | And said, Truly, I say to you, If you do not have a change of heart and become like little children, you will not go into the kingdom of heaven. | And said: Amen I say to you, unless you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. | and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye turn, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven. |

| Matthew 18:6 | But whoever is a cause of trouble to one of these little ones who have faith in me, it would be better for him to have a great stone fixed to his neck, and to come to his end in the deep sea. | But he that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea. | But whoso shall cause one of these little ones that believe on me to stumble, it is profitable for him that a great millstone should be hanged about his neck, and [that] he should be sunk in the depth of the sea. |
| Matthew 18:7 | A curse is on the earth because of trouble! for it is necessary for trouble to come; but unhappy is that man through whom the trouble comes. | Woe to the world because of scandals. | Matthew 18:8 | And if your hand or your foot is a cause of trouble, let it be cut off and put it away from you: it is better for you to go into life with the loss of a hand or a foot than, having two hands or two feet, to go into the eternal fire. | And if thy hand, or thy foot scandalize thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee. It is better for thee to go into life maimed or lame, than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into everlasting fire. | And if thy hand or thy foot causeth thee to stumble, cut it off, and cast it from thee: it is good for thee to enter into life maimed or halt, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the eternal fire. |

If a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them should go astray: doth he not leave the ninety-nine in the mountains, and go to seek that which is gone astray? | How think ye? if any man have a hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and go unto the mountains, and seek that which goeth astray? |
| Matthew 18:13 | And if he comes across it, truly I say to you, he has more joy over it than over the ninety-nine which have not gone out of the way. | And if it so be that he find it: Amen I say to you, he rejoiceth more for that, than for the ninety-nine that went not astray. | And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth over it more than over the ninety and nine which have not gone astray. |

| Matthew 18:33 | Was it not right for you to have mercy on the other servant, even as I had mercy on you? | Shouldst not thou then have had compassion also on thy fellow servant, even as I had compassion on thee? | shouldest not thou also have had mercy on thy fellow-servant, even as I had mercy on thee? |
| Matthew 18:34 | And his lord was very angry, and put him in the hands of those who would give him punishment till he made payment of all the debt. | And his lord being angry, delivered him to the torturers until he paid all the debt. | And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due. |
| Matthew 18:35 | So will my Father in heaven do to you, if you do not everyone, from your hearts, give forgiveness to his brother. | So also shall my heavenly Father do to you, if you forgive not every one his brother from your hearts. | So shall also my heavenly Father do unto you, if ye forgive not every one his brother from your hearts. |
