Matthew 15:2Why do your disciples go against the teaching of the fathers? for they take food with unwashed hands.Why do thy disciples trangress the tradition of the ancients? For they wash not their hands when they eat bread.Why do thy disciples transgress what has been delivered by the ancients? for they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.
Matthew 15:3And in answer he said to them, Why do you, yourselves, go against the word of God on account of the teaching which has been handed down to you?But he answering, said to them: Why do you also transgress the commandment of God for your tradition? Matthew 15:4For God said, Give honour to your father and mother: and, He who says evil of father or mother will be put to death.Honour thy father and mother: And: He that shall curse father or mother, let him die the death.For God commanded saying, Honour father and mother; and, He that speaks ill of father or mother, let him die the death.
Matthew 15:5But you say, If a man says to his father or his mother, That by which you might have had profit from me is given to God;But you say: Whosoever shall say to father or mother, The gift whatsoever proceedeth from me, shall profit thee.But *ye* say, Whosoever shall say to his father or mother, It is a gift, whatsoever [it be] by which [received] from me thou wouldest be profited:
Matthew 15:6There is no need for him to give honour to his father. And you have made the word of God without effect because of your teaching.And he shall not honour his father or his mother: and you have made void the commandment of God for your tradition.and he shall in no wise honour his father or his mother; and ye have made void the commandment of God on account of your traditional teaching.
Matthew 15:7You false ones, well did Isaiah say of you,Hypocrites, well hath Isaias prophesied of you, saying:Hypocrites! well has Esaias prophesied about you, saying,
Matthew 15:8These people give me honour with their lips, but their heart is far from me.This people honoureth me with their lips: but their heart is far from me.This people honour me with the lips, but their heart is far away from me;
Matthew 15:9But their worship is to no purpose, while they give as their teaching the rules of men.And in vain do they worship me, teaching doctrines and commandments of men.but in vain do they worship me, teaching [as] teachings commandments of men.
Matthew 15:10And he got the people together and said to them, Give ear, and let my words be clear to you:And having called together the multitudes unto him, he said to them: Hear ye and understand.And having called to [him] the crowd, he said to them, Hear and understand:
Matthew 15:11Not that which goes into the mouth makes a man unclean, but that which comes out of the mouth.Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man: but what cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.Not what enters into the mouth defiles the man; but what goes forth out of the mouth, this defiles the man.
Matthew 15:12Then the disciples came and said to him, Did you see that the Pharisees were troubled when these words came to their ears?Then came his disciples, and said to him: Dost thou know that the Pharisees, when they heard this word, were scandalized?Then his disciples, coming up, said to him, Dost thou know that the Pharisees, having heard this word, have been offended?
Matthew 15:13But he said in answer, Every plant which my Father in heaven has not put in the earth, will be taken up by the roots.But he answering them, said: Every plant which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.But he answering said, Every plant which my heavenly Father has not planted shall be rooted up.
Matthew 15:14Let them be: they are blind guides. And if a blind man is guiding a blind man, the two will go falling into a hole together.Let them alone: they are blind, and leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into the pit.Leave them alone; they are blind leaders of blind: but if blind lead blind, both will fall into a ditch.
Matthew 15:15Then Peter said to him, Make the story clear to us.And Peter answering, said to him: Expound to us this parable.And Peter answering said to him, Expound to us this parable.
Matthew 15:16And he said, Are you, like them, still without wisdom?But he said: Are you also yet without understanding?But he said, Are *ye* also still without intelligence?
Matthew 15:17Do you not see that whatever goes into the mouth goes on into the stomach, and is sent out as waste?Do you not understand, that whatsoever entereth into the mouth, goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the privy?Do ye not yet apprehend, that everything that enters into the mouth finds its way into the belly, and is cast forth into the draught?
Matthew 15:18But the things which come out of the mouth come from the heart; and they make a man unclean.But the things which proceed out of the mouth, come forth from the heart, and those things defile a man.but the things which go forth out of the mouth come out of the heart, and those defile man.
Matthew 15:19For out of the heart come evil thoughts, the taking of life, broken faith between the married, unclean desires of the flesh, taking of property, false witness, bitter words:For from the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false testimonies, blasphemies.For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witnessings, blasphemies;
Matthew 15:20These are the things which make a man unclean; but to take food with unwashed hands does not make a man unclean.These are the things that defile a man. But to eat with unwashed hands doth not defile a man.these are the things which defile man; but the eating with unwashen hands does not defile man.

Be it to thee as thou desirest. And her daughter was healed from *that* hour.

Matthew 15:31So that the people were full of wonder when they saw that those who had no voice were talking, the feeble were made strong, those whose bodies were broken had the power of walking, and the blind were able to see: and they gave glory to the God of Israel.So that the multitudes marvelled seeing the dumb speak, the lame walk, and the blind see: and they glorified the God of Israel.so that the crowds wondered, seeing dumb speaking, crippled sound, lame walking, and blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.
Matthew 15:32And Jesus got his disciples together and said, I have pity for the people, because they have now been with me three days and have no food: and I will not send them away without food, or they will have no strength for the journey.And Jesus called together his disciples, and said: I have compassion on the multitudes, because they continue with me now three days, and have not what to eat, and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.But Jesus, having called his disciples to [him], said, I have compassion on the crowd, because they have stayed with me already three days and they have not anything they can eat, and I would not send them away fasting lest they should faint on the way.
Matthew 15:33And the disciples say to him, How may we get enough bread in a waste place, to give food to such a number of people?And the disciples say unto him: Whence then should we have so many loaves in the desert, as to fill so great a multitude?And his disciples say to him, Whence should we have so many loaves in [the] wilderness as to satisfy so great a crowd?
