| Matthew 6:1 | Take care not to do your good works before men, to be seen by them; or you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. | Take heed that you do not your justice before men, to be seen by them: otherwise you shall not have a reward of your Father who is in heaven. | Take heed not to do your alms before men to be seen of them, otherwise ye have no reward with your Father who is in the heavens. |

Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they labour not, neither do they spin. | And why are ye careful about clothing? Observe with attention the lilies of the field, how they grow: they toil not, neither do they spin; |
