| Leviticus 11:1 | And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, | And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying: | And the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them. |
| Leviticus 11:2 | Say to the children of Israel: These are the living things which you may have for food among all the beasts on the earth. | Say to the children of Israel: These are the animals which you are to eat of all the living things of the earth. | Speak to the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye may eat among all the beasts that are on the earth. |
| Leviticus 11:3 | You may have as food any beast which has a division in the horn of its foot, and whose food comes back into its mouth to be crushed again. | Whatsoever hath the hoof divided, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, you shall eat. | Whatever parteth the hoof, and is cloven-footed, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that shall ye eat. |
| Leviticus 11:4 | But, at the same time, of those beasts, you may not take for food the camel, because its food comes back but the horn of its foot is not parted in two; it is unclean to you. | But whatsoever cheweth indeed the cud, and hath a hoof, but divideth it not, as the camel, and others, that you shall not eat, but shall reckon it among the unclean. | Nevertheless, these shall ye not eat, of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean to you. |

| Leviticus 11:11 | They may not be used for food, and their dead bodies are disgusting to you. | And detestable : their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall avoid. | They shall be even an abomination to you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcasses in abomination. |

| Leviticus 11:19 | The stork and the heron, and birds of that sort, and the hoopoe and the bat. | The heron, and the charadrion according to its kind, the houp also, and the bat. | And the stork, and the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat. |
| Leviticus 11:20 | Every winged four-footed thing which goes on the earth is disgusting to you; | Of things that fly, whatsoever goeth upon four feet, shall be abominable to you. | All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination to you. |
| Leviticus 11:21 | But of the winged four-footed things, those which have long legs for jumping on the earth you may have for food; | But whatsoever walketh upon four feet, but hath the legs behind longer, wherewith it hoppeth upon the earth, | Yet these may ye eat, of every flying creeping animal that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap with upon the earth; |
| Leviticus 11:22 | Such as all the different sorts of locust. | That you shall eat, as the bruchus in its kind, the attacus, and ophiomachus, and the locust, every one according to their kind. | Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after its kind, and the bald locust after its kind, and the beetle after its kind, and the grasshopper after its kind. |
| Leviticus 11:23 | But all other winged four-footed things which go on the earth are disgusting to you. | But of dying things whatsoever hath four feet only, shall be an abomination to you: | But all other flying creeping animals, which have four feet, shall be an abomination to you. |
| Leviticus 11:24 | By these you will be made unclean; anyone touching their dead bodies will be unclean till evening: | And whosoever shall touch the carcasses of them, shall be defiled, and shall be unclean until the evening: | And for these ye shall be unclean: whoever toucheth the carcass of them shall be unclean until the evening. |
| Leviticus 11:25 | Whoever takes away the dead body of one of them is to have his clothing washed, and will be unclean till evening. | And if it be necessary that he carry any of these things when they are dead, he shall wash his clothes, and shall be unclean until the sun set. | And whoever beareth aught of the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. |

| Leviticus 11:39 | And if any beast which may be used for food comes to a natural death, anyone touching its dead body will be unclean till evening. | If any beast die, of which it is lawful for you to eat, he that toucheth the carcass thereof, shall be unclean until the evening: | And if any beast, of which ye may eat, shall die; he that toucheth its carcass shall be unclean until the evening. |
