| Hebrews 8:1 | Now of the things we are saying this is the chief point: We have such a high priest, who has taken his place at the right hand of God's high seat of glory in heaven, | Now of the things which we have spoken, this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of majesty in the heavens, | Now in the things which we are saying, the main point is this. | Hebrews 8:2 | As a servant of the holy things and of the true Tent, which was put up by God, not by man. | A minister of the holies, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord hath pitched, and not man. | a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tent, which the Lord pitched, not man. |
| Hebrews 8:3 | Now every high priest is given authority to take to God the things which are given and to make offerings; so that it is necessary for this man, like them, to have something for an offering. | For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is necessary that he also should have some thing to offer. | For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices. | Hebrews 8:9 | Not like the agreement which I made with their fathers when I took them by the hand, to be their guide out of the land of Egypt; for they did not keep the agreement with me, and I gave them up, says the Lord. | Not according to the testament which I made to their fathers, on the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt: because they continued not in my testament: and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. | Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers, In the day that I took them by the hand to lead them forth out of the land of Egypt; For they didn't continue in my covenant, And I disregarded them," says the Lord. |

| Hebrews 8:11 | And there will be no need for every man to be teaching his brother, or his neighbour, saying, This is the knowledge of the Lord: for they will all have knowledge of me, great and small. | And they shall not teach every man his neighbour and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me from the least to the greatest of them: | They will not teach every man his fellow citizen, Every man his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' For all will know me, From the least of them to the greatest of them. |
| Hebrews 8:12 | And I will have mercy on their evil-doing, and I will not keep their sins in mind. | Because I will be merciful to their iniquities, and their sins I will remember no more. | For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness. I will remember their sins and lawless deeds no more." |
| Hebrews 8:13 | When he says, A new agreement, he has made the first agreement old. But anything which is getting old and past use will not be seen much longer. | Now in saying a new, he hath made the former old. And that which decayeth and groweth old, is near its end. | In that he says, "A new covenant," he has made the first old. But that which is becoming old and grows aged is near to vanishing away. |
