| Matthew 25:1 | Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins, the friends of the bride, who took their lights, and went out with the purpose of meeting the husband. | Then shall the kingdom of heaven be like to ten virgins, who taking their lamps went out to meet the bridegroom and the bride. | `Then shall the reign of the heavens be likened to ten virgins, who, having taken their lamps, went forth to meet the bridegroom; |
| Matthew 25:2 | And five of them were foolish, and five were wise. | And five of them were foolish, and five wise. | and five of them were prudent, and five foolish; |
| Matthew 25:3 | For the foolish, when they took their lights, took no oil with them. | But the five foolish, having taken their lamps, did not take oil with them: | they who were foolish having taken their lamps, did not take with themselves oil; |
