| John 16:1 | I have said these things to you so that you may not be in doubt. | These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. | These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be caused to stumble. |
| John 16:2 | They will put you out of the Synagogues: yes, the time is coming when whoever puts you to death will have the belief that he is doing God's pleasure. | They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. | They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the hour cometh, that whosoever killeth you shall think that he offereth service unto God. |
| John 16:3 | They will do these things to you because they have not had knowledge of the Father or of me. | And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me. | And these things will they do, because they have not known the Father, nor me. |
