For they wash not their hands when they eat bread. |
Matthew 15:3 | And in answer he said to them, Why do you, yourselves, go against the word of God on account of the teaching which has been handed down to you? | But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? | But he answering, said to them: Why do you also transgress the commandment of God for your tradition? Matthew 15:5 | But you say, If a man says to his father or his mother, That by which you might have had profit from me is given to God; | But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; | But you say: Whosoever shall say to father or mother, The gift whatsoever proceedeth from me, shall profit thee. |
Matthew 15:6 | There is no need for him to give honour to his father. And you have made the word of God without effect because of your teaching. | And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. | And he shall not honour his father or his mother: and you have made void the commandment of God for your tradition. |

Matthew 15:11 | Not that which goes into the mouth makes a man unclean, but that which comes out of the mouth. | Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. | Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man: but what cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. |

Matthew 15:18 | But the things which come out of the mouth come from the heart; and they make a man unclean. | But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. | But the things which proceed out of the mouth, come forth from the heart, and those things defile a man. |
