| Matthew 18:1 | In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven? | At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? | At that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying: Who thinkest thou is the greater in the kingdom of heaven? |
| Matthew 18:2 | And he took a little child, and put him in the middle of them, | And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, | And Jesus calling unto him a little child, set him in the midst of them, |
| Matthew 18:3 | And said, Truly, I say to you, If you do not have a change of heart and become like little children, you will not go into the kingdom of heaven. | And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. | And said: Amen I say to you, unless you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. |

| Matthew 18:6 | But whoever is a cause of trouble to one of these little ones who have faith in me, it would be better for him to have a great stone fixed to his neck, and to come to his end in the deep sea. | But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. | But he that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea. |
| Matthew 18:7 | A curse is on the earth because of trouble! for it is necessary for trouble to come; but unhappy is that man through whom the trouble comes. | Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! | Woe to the world because of scandals. | Matthew 18:8 | And if your hand or your foot is a cause of trouble, let it be cut off and put it away from you: it is better for you to go into life with the loss of a hand or a foot than, having two hands or two feet, to go into the eternal fire. | Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. | And if thy hand, or thy foot scandalize thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee. It is better for thee to go into life maimed or lame, than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into everlasting fire. |

If a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them should go astray: doth he not leave the ninety-nine in the mountains, and go to seek that which is gone astray? |
| Matthew 18:13 | And if he comes across it, truly I say to you, he has more joy over it than over the ninety-nine which have not gone out of the way. | And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. | And if it so be that he find it: Amen I say to you, he rejoiceth more for that, than for the ninety-nine that went not astray. |

| Matthew 18:33 | Was it not right for you to have mercy on the other servant, even as I had mercy on you? | Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? | Shouldst not thou then have had compassion also on thy fellow servant, even as I had compassion on thee? |
| Matthew 18:34 | And his lord was very angry, and put him in the hands of those who would give him punishment till he made payment of all the debt. | And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. | And his lord being angry, delivered him to the torturers until he paid all the debt. |
| Matthew 18:35 | So will my Father in heaven do to you, if you do not everyone, from your hearts, give forgiveness to his brother. | So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses. | So also shall my heavenly Father do to you, if you forgive not every one his brother from your hearts. |
