| 2nd-Peter 3:1 | My loved ones, this is now my second letter to you, and in this as in the first, I am attempting to keep your true minds awake; | This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: | This is now, beloved, the second letter that I have written to you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by reminding you; |

| 2nd-Peter 3:16 | And as he said in all his letters, which had to do with these things; in which are some hard sayings, so that, like the rest of the holy Writings, they are twisted by those who are uncertain and without knowledge, to the destruction of their souls. | As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. | as also in all of his letters, speaking in them of these things.
