| Mark 10:1 | And he got up, and went into the country of Judaea on the other side of Jordan: and great numbers of people came together to him again; and, as was his way, he gave them teaching. | And he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again. | He arose from there and came into the borders of Judea and beyond the Jordan. Multitudes came together to him again. As he usually did, he taught them again. |
| Mark 10:2 | And Pharisees came to him, testing him with the question, Is it right for a man to put away his wife? | And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him. | There came to him Pharisees testing him, and asked him, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?" |
