| Acts 26:1 | And Agrippa said to Paul, You may put your cause before us. Then Paul, stretching out his hand, made his answer, saying: | Then Agrippa said to Paul, Thou art permitted to speak for thyself. Then Paul stretched forth the hand, and answered for himself: | And Agrippa said unto Paul, `It is permitted to thee to speak for thyself;` then Paul having stretched forth the hand, was making a defence: |
| Acts 26:2 | In my opinion I am happy, King Agrippa, to be able to give my answer before you today to all these things which the Jews say against me: | I think myself happy, king Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this day before thee, concerning all the things of which I am accused by the Jews: | `Concerning all things of which I am accused by Jews, king Agrippa, I have thought myself happy, being about to make a defence before thee to-day, |
| Acts 26:3 | The more so, because you are expert in all questions to do with the Jews and their ways: so I make my request to you to give me a hearing to the end. | Especially, because I know thee to be expert in all customs and questions which are among the Jews: wherefore I beseech thee to hear me patiently. | especially knowing thee to be acquainted with all things both customs and questions among Jews; wherefore, I beseech thee, patiently to hear me. |
