| Revelation 2:1 | To the angel of the church in Ephesus say: These things says he who has the seven stars in his right hand, who is walking in the middle of the seven gold lights: | "To the minister of the Church in Ephesus write as follows: "`This is what He who holds the seven stars in the grasp of His right hand says He who walks to and fro among the seven lampstands of gold. | To the angel of the assembly in Ephesus write: These things says he that holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lamps: |
| Revelation 2:2 | I have knowledge of your doings, and of your hard work and long waiting, and that you will not put up with evil men, and have put to the test those who say they are Apostles and are not, and have seen that they are false; | I know your doings and your toil and patient suffering. And I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men, but have put to the test those who say that they themselves are Apostles but are not, and you have found them to be liars. | I know thy works and [thy] labour, and thine endurance, and that thou canst not bear evil [men]; and thou hast tried them who say that themselves [are] apostles and are not, and hast found them liars; |
| Revelation 2:3 | And you have the power of waiting, and have undergone trouble because of my name, without weariness. | And you endure patiently and have borne burdens for My sake and have never grown weary. | and endurest, and hast borne for my name's sake, and hast not wearied: |
| Revelation 2:4 | But I have this against you, that you are turned away from your first love. | Yet I have this against you that you no longer love Me as you did at first. | but I have against thee, that thou hast left thy first love. |
| Revelation 2:5 | So keep in mind where you were at first, and be changed in heart and do the first works; or I will come to you, and will take away your light from its place, if your hearts are not changed. | Be mindful, therefore, of the height from which you have fallen. Repent at once, and act as you did at first, or else I will surely come and remove your lampstand out of its place unless you repent. | Remember therefore whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works: but if not, I am coming to thee, and I will remove thy lamp out of its place, except thou shalt repent. |
| Revelation 2:6 | But at least you have the credit of hating the works of the Nicolaitans, as I do. | Yet this you have in your favor: you hate the doings of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. | But this thou hast, that thou hatest the works of the Nicolaitanes, which *I* also hate. |

To him who overcomes I will give of the fruit of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God. | "`Let all who have ears give heed to what the Spirit is saying to the Churches. | Revelation 2:15 | And you have those who keep the teaching of the Nicolaitans. | So even you have some that cling in the same way to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. | So thou also hast those who hold the doctrine of Nicolaitanes in like manner. |
| Revelation 2:16 | See, then, that you have a change of heart; or I will come to you quickly, and will make war against them with the sword of my mouth. | Repent, at once; or else I will come to you quickly, and will make war upon them with the sword which is in My mouth. | Repent therefore: but if not, I come to thee quickly, and I will make war with them with the sword of my mouth. |

| Revelation 2:19 | I have knowledge of your works, and your love and faith and help and strength in trouble, and that your last works are more than the first. | I know your doings, your love, your faith, your service, and your patient endurance; and that of late you have toiled harder than you did at first. | I know thy works, and love, and faith, and service, and thine endurance, and thy last works [to be] more than the first. |
| Revelation 2:20 | But I have this against you, that you let the woman Jezebel say she is a prophet and give false teaching, making my servants go after the desires of the flesh and take food offered to false gods. | Yet I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and by her teaching leads astray My servants, so that they commit fornication and eat what has been sacrificed to idols. | But I have against thee that thou permittest the woman Jezebel, she who calls herself prophetess, and she teaches and leads astray my servants to commit fornication and eat of idol sacrifices. |

| Revelation 2:23 | And I will put her children to death; and all the churches will see that I am he who makes search into the secret thoughts and hearts of men: and I will give to every one of you the reward of your works. | Her children too shall surely die; and all the Churches shall come to know that I am He who searches into men's inmost thoughts; and to each of you I will give a requital which shall be in accordance with what your conduct has been. | and her children will I kill with death; and all the assemblies shall know that *I* am he that searches [the] reins and [the] hearts; and I will give to you each according to your works. |
