Exodus 25:1And the Lord said to Moses,Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
Exodus 25:2Say to the children of Israel that they are to make me an offering; from every man who has the impulse in his heart take an offering for me."Speak to the children of Israel, that they take an offering for me. From everyone whose heart makes him willing you shall take my offering.
Exodus 25:3And this is the offering you are to take from them: gold and silver and brass;This is the offering which you shall take from them: gold, silver, brass,
Exodus 25:4And blue and purple and red, and the best linen, and goats' hair;blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, goats' hair,
Exodus 25:5And sheepskins coloured red, and leather, and hard wood;rams' skins dyed red, sea cow hides, acacia wood,
Exodus 25:6Oil for the light, spices for the sweet-smelling oil, sweet perfumes for burning;oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense,
Exodus 25:7Beryls and stones of value to be put on the ephod and on the priest's bag.onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod and for the breastplate.
Exodus 25:8And let them make me a holy place, so that I may be ever present among them.Let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.
Exodus 25:9Make the House and everything in it from the designs which I will give you.According to all that I show you, the pattern of the tent, and the pattern of all of its furniture, even so you shall make it.
Exodus 25:10And they are to make an ark of hard wood; two and a half cubits long, and a cubit and a half wide and high."They shall make an ark of acacia wood. Its length shall be two and a half cubits, its breadth a cubit and a half, and a cubit and a half its height.
Exodus 25:11It is to be plated inside and out with the best gold, with an edge of gold all round itYou shall overlay it with pure gold. Inside and outside shall you overlay it, and shall make a gold molding around it.
Exodus 25:12And make four rings of gold for it, to be fixed on its four feet, two rings on one side of it and two on the other.You shall cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in its four feet. Two rings shall be on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it.
Exodus 25:13And make rods of the same wood, plating them with gold.You shall make poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.
Exodus 25:14And put the rods through the rings at the sides of the ark, for lifting it.You shall put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry the ark.
Exodus 25:15The rods are to be kept in the rings, and never taken out.The poles shall be in the rings of the ark. They shall not be taken from it.
Exodus 25:16Inside the ark you are to put the record which I will give you.You shall put the testimony which I shall give you into the ark.
Exodus 25:17And you are to make a cover of the best gold, two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide.You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold. Two and a half cubits shall be its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth.
Exodus 25:18And at the two ends of the cover you are to make two winged ones of hammered gold,You shall make two cherubim of hammered gold. You shall make them at the two ends of the mercy seat.
Exodus 25:19One at one end and one at the other; the winged ones are to be part of the cover.Make one cherub at the one end, and one cherub at the other end. You shall make the cherubim on its two ends of one piece with the mercy seat.
Exodus 25:20And their wings are to be outstretched over the cover, and the winged ones are to be opposite one another, facing the cover.The cherubim shall spread out their wings upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward one another. The faces of the cherubim shall be toward the mercy seat.
Exodus 25:21And put the cover over the ark, and in the ark the record which I will give you.You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I will give you.
Exodus 25:22And there, between the two winged ones on the cover of the ark, I will come to you, face to face, and make clear to you all the orders I have to give you for the children of Israel.There I will meet with you, and I will tell you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the testimony, all that I command you for the children of Israel.
Exodus 25:23And you are to make a table of the same wood, two cubits long, a cubit wide and a cubit and a half high,"You shall make a table of acacia wood. Two cubits shall be its length, and a cubit its breadth, and one and a half cubits its height.
Exodus 25:24Plated with the best gold, with a gold edge all round it;You shall overlay it with pure gold, and make a gold molding around it.
Exodus 25:25And make a frame all round it, as wide as a man's hand, with a gold edge to the frame.You shall make a rim of a handbreadth around it. You shall make a golden molding on its rim around it.
Exodus 25:26And make four gold rings and put them at the four angles, on the four feet of the table;You shall make four rings of gold for it, and put the rings in the four corners that are on its four feet.
Exodus 25:27The rings are to be fixed under the frame to take the rods with which the table is to be lifted.the rings shall be close to the rim, for places for the poles to carry the table.
Exodus 25:28Make rods of the same wood, plated with gold, for lifting the table.You shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be carried with them.
Exodus 25:29And make the table-vessels, the spoons and the cups and the basins for liquids, all of the best gold.You shall make its dishes, its spoons, its ladles, and its bowls to pour out offerings with. Of pure gold shall you make them.
Exodus 25:30And on the table at all times you are to keep my holy bread.You shall set bread of the presence on the table before me always.
Exodus 25:31And you are to make a support for lights, of the best gold; its base and its pillar are to be of hammered gold; its cups, its buds, and its flowers are to be made of the same metal."You shall make a lampstand of pure gold. Of hammered work shall the lampstand be made, even its base, its shaft, its cups, its buds, and its flowers, shall be of one piece with it.
Exodus 25:32It is to have six branches coming out from its sides; three branches from one side and three from the other.There shall be six branches going out of its sides: three branches of the lampstand out of its one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of its other side;
Exodus 25:33Every branch having three cups made like almond flowers, every cup with a bud and a flower, on all the branches.three cups made like almond blossoms in one branch, a bud and a flower; and three cups made like almond blossoms in the other branch, a bud and a flower, so for the six branches going out of the lampstand;
Exodus 25:34And on the pillar, four cups like almond flowers, every one with its bud and its flower:and in the lampstand four cups made like almond blossoms, its buds and its flowers;
Exodus 25:35And under every two branches a bud, made with the branch, for all the six branches of it.and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, for the six branches going out of the lampstand.
Exodus 25:36The buds and the branches are to be made of the same metal; all together one complete work of hammered gold.Their buds and their branches shall be of one piece with it, the whole of it one beaten work of pure gold.
Exodus 25:37Then you are to make its seven vessels for the lights, putting them in their place so that they give light in front of it.You shall make its lamps seven, and they shall light its lamps to give light to the space in front of it.
Exodus 25:38And the instruments and trays for use with it are all to be of the best gold.Its snuffers and its snuff dishes shall be of pure gold.
Exodus 25:39A talent of gold will be needed for it, with all these vessels.It shall be made of a talent of pure gold, with all these accessories.
Exodus 25:40And see that you make them from the design which you saw on the mountain.See that you make them after their pattern, which has been shown to you on the mountain.
