| Matthew 19:1 | And it came about that after saying these words, Jesus went away from Galilee, and came into the parts of Judaea on the other side of Jordan. | It happened when Jesus had finished these words, he departed from Galilee, and came into the borders of Judea beyond the Jordan. | And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these words, he withdrew from Galilee, and came to the coasts of Judaea beyond the Jordan; |
| Matthew 19:2 | And a great number went after him; and he made them well there. | Great multitudes followed him, and he healed them there. | and great crowds followed him, and he healed them there. |
| Matthew 19:3 | And certain Pharisees came to him, testing him, and saying, Is it right for a man to put away his wife for every cause? | Pharisees came to him, testing him, and saying, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?" | And the Pharisees came to him tempting him, and saying, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? |
