| Zechariah 5:1 | Then again lifting up my eyes I saw a roll in flight through the air. | Then again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and, behold, a flying scroll. | And I turned and lifted up my eyes: and I saw, and behold a volume flying. |
| Zechariah 5:2 | And he said to me, What do you see? And I said, A roll going through the air; it is twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide. | He said to me, What see you? I answered, I see a flying scroll; the length of it is twenty cubits, and the breadth of it ten cubits. | And he said to me: What seest thou? And I said: I see a volume flying: the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits. |
| Zechariah 5:3 | Then he said to me, This is the curse which goes out over the face of all the land: for long enough has every thief gone without punishment, and long enough has every taker of false oaths gone without punishment. | Then said he to me, This is the curse that goes forth over the surface of the whole land: for everyone who steals shall be cut off on the one side according to it; and everyone who swears shall be cut off on the other side according to it. | And he said to me: This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the earth: for every thief shall be judged as is there written: and every one that sweareth in like manner shall be judged by it. |
| Zechariah 5:4 | And I will send it out, says the Lord of armies, and it will go into the house of the thief and into the house of him who takes a false oath by my name: and it will be in his house, causing its complete destruction, with its woodwork and its stones. | I will cause it to go forth, says Yahweh of Hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who swears falsely by my name; and it shall abide in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber of it and the stones of it. | I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts: and it shall come to the house of the thief, and to the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it, with the timber thereof, and the stones thereof. |
| Zechariah 5:5 | And the angel who was talking to me went out and said to me, Let your eyes be lifted up now, and see the ephah which is going out. | Then the angel who talked with me went forth, and said to me, Lift up now your eyes, and see what is this that goes forth. | And the angel went forth that spoke in me, and he said to me: Lift up thy eyes, and see what this is, that goeth forth. |
| Zechariah 5:6 | And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah which is going out. And he said further, This is their evil-doing in all the land. | I said, What is it? He said, This is the ephah that goes forth. He said moreover, This is their appearance in all the land | And I said: What is it? And he said: This is a vessel going forth. And he said: This is their eye in all the earth. |
| Zechariah 5:7 | And I saw a round cover of lead lifted up; and a woman was seated in the middle of the ephah. | (and, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead); and this is a woman sitting in the midst of the ephah. | And behold a talent of lead was carried, and behold a woman sitting in the midst of the vessel. |
| Zechariah 5:8 | And he said, This is Sin; and pushing her down into the ephah, he put the weight of lead on the mouth of it. | He said, This is Wickedness: and he cast her down into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead on the mouth of it. | And he said: This is wickedness. And he cast her into the midst of the vessel, and cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof. |
| Zechariah 5:9 | And lifting up my eyes I saw two women coming out, and the wind was in their wings; and they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they took the ephah, lifting it up between earth and heaven. | Then lifted I up my eyes, and saw, and, behold, there came forth two women, and the wind was in their wings; now they had wings like the wings of a stork; and they lifted up the ephah between earth and the sky. | And I lifted up my eyes and looked: and behold there came out two women, and wind was in their wings, and they had wings like the wings of a kite: and they lifted up the vessel between the earth and the heaven. |

| Zechariah 5:11 | And he said to me, To make a house for her in the land of Shinar: and they will make a place ready, and put her there in the place which is hers. | He said to me, To build her a house in the land of Shinar: and when it is prepared, she shall be set there in her own place. | And he said to me: That a house may be built for it in the land of Sennaar, and that it may be established, and set there upon its own basis. |
