| Genesis 40:1 | Now after these things the chief servant who had the care of the wine, and the chief bread-maker in Pharaoh's house, did something against Pharaoh's orders; | It happened after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker offended their lord, the king of Egypt. | And it came to pass after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt. |
| Genesis 40:2 | And Pharaoh was angry with his two servants, with the chief wine-servant and the chief bread-maker; | Pharaoh was angry against his two officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers. | And Pharaoh was wroth against two of his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers. |

| Genesis 40:14 | But keep me in mind when things go well for you, and be good to me and say a good word for me to Pharaoh and get me out of this prison: | But remember me when it will be well with you, and show kindness, please, to me, and make mention of me to Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house. | But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house: |
