| Numbers 21:1 | And it came to the ears of the Canaanite, the king of Arad, living in the South, that Israel was coming by the way of Atharim, and he came out against them and took some of them prisoners. | The Canaanite, the king of Arad, who lived in the South, heard tell that Israel came by the way of Atharim; and he fought against Israel, and took some of them captive. | And when king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south, heard tell that Israel came by the way of the spies; then he fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners. |
| Numbers 21:2 | Then Israel made an oath to the Lord, and said, If you will give up this people into my hands, then I will send complete destruction on all their towns. | Israel vowed a vow to Yahweh, and said, If you will indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities. | And Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities. |

| Numbers 21:15 | The slope of the valleys going down to the tents of Ar and touching the edge of Moab. | The slope of the valleys That inclines toward the dwelling of Ar, Leans on the border of Moab. | And at the stream of the brooks that goeth down to the dwelling of Ar, and lieth upon the border of Moab. |
