Luke 24:1 | But on the first day of the week, at dawn, they came to the place where his body had been put, taking the spices which they had got ready. | But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they and some others came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared. | Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came to the sepulcher, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. |

And they said, The things to do with Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet, great in his acts and his words, before God and all the people: | He said to them, "What things?" They said to him, "The things concerning Jesus, the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people; | And he said to them, What things? And they said to him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God, and all the people: |
Luke 24:20 | And how the chief priests and our rulers gave him up to be put to death on the cross. | and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him. | And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and crucified him. |
Luke 24:21 | But we were hoping that he would be the Saviour of Israel.
