| Exodus 35:1 | And Moses sent for all the children of Israel to come together, and said to them, This is what the Lord has said and these are his orders. | Moses assembled all the congregation of the children of Israel, and said to them, "These are the words which Yahweh has commanded, that you should do them. | And Moses assembleth all the company of the sons of Israel, and saith unto them, `These [are] the things which Jehovah hath commanded to do them: |
| Exodus 35:2 | Six days let work be done, but the seventh day is to be a holy day to you, a Sabbath of rest to the Lord; whoever does any work on that day is to be put to death. | 'Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be a holy day for you, a Sabbath of solemn rest to Yahweh: whoever does any work in it shall be put to death. | Six days is work done, and on the seventh day there is to you a holy [day], a sabbath of rest to Jehovah; any who doeth work in it is put to death; |
| Exodus 35:3 | No fire is to be lighted in any of your houses on the Sabbath day. | You shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations on the Sabbath day.'" | ye do not burn a fire in any of your dwellings on the sabbath-day.` |
