Mark 10:5 | But Jesus said to them, Because of your hard hearts he gave you this law. | And Jesus answering said to them, `For the stiffness of your heart he wrote you this command, | "It was in consideration of your stubborn hearts," said Jesus, "that Moses enacted this law for you; |

Mark 10:7 | For this cause will a man go away from his father and mother, and be joined to his wife; | on this account shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave unto his wife, | For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cling to his wife, |
Mark 10:8 | And the two will become one flesh; so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. | and they shall be the two for one flesh; so that they are no more two, but one flesh; | and the two shall be one'; so that they are two no longer, but `one.' |

Mark 10:12 | And if she herself puts away her husband and takes another, she is false to her husband. | and if a woman may put away her husband, and is married to another, she committeth adultery.` | and if a woman puts away her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery." |

Mark 10:14 | And when Jesus saw it, he was angry, and said to them, Let the little children come to me, and do not keep them away; for of such is the kingdom of God. | and Jesus having seen, was much displeased, and he said to them, `Suffer the children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the reign of God; | Jesus, however, on seeing this, was moved to indignation, and said to them, "Let the little children come to me: do not hinder them; for to those who are childlike the Kingdom of God belongs. |
Mark 10:15 | Truly I say to you, Whoever does not put himself under the kingdom of God like a little child, will not come into it at all. | verily I say to you, whoever may not receive the reign of God, as a child he may not enter into it;` | In solemn truth I tell you that no one who does not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child will by any possibility enter it." |
Mark 10:16 | And he took them in his arms, and gave them a blessing, putting his hands on them. | and having taken them in his arms, having put [his] hands upon them, he was blessing them. | Then He took them in His arms and blessed them lovingly, one by one, laying His hands upon them. |

Mark 10:24 | And the disciples were full of wonder at his words. But Jesus said to them again, Children, how hard it is for those who put faith in wealth to come into the kingdom of God! | And the disciples were astonished at his words, and Jesus again answering saith to them, `Children, how hard is it to those trusting on the riches to enter into the reign of God! | The disciples were amazed at His words. Jesus, however, said again, "Children, how hard a struggle is it for those who trust in riches to enter the Kingdom of God! |
Mark 10:25 | It is simpler for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a man of wealth to come into the kingdom of God. | It is easier for a camel through the eye of the needle to enter, than for a rich man to enter into the reign of God.` | It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God." |

Mark 10:30 | Who will not get a hundred times as much now in this time, houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and land though with great troubles; and, in the world to come, eternal life. | who may not receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and fields, with persecutions, and in the age that is coming, life age-during; | but will receive a hundred times as much now in this present life houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, lands and persecution with them and in the coming age the Life of the Ages. |
Mark 10:31 | But a great number who are first will be last: and those who are last will be first. | and many first shall be last, and the last first.` | But many who are now first will be last, and the last, first." |
Mark 10:32 | And they were on the way, going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus was going before them: and they were full of wonder; but those who came after him were in fear. And again he took the twelve, and gave them word of the things which were to come on him, | And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was going before them, and they were amazed, and following they were afraid. And having again taken the twelve, he began to tell them the things about to happen to him, | They were still on the road going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was walking ahead of them; they were full of wonder, and some, though they followed, did so with fear. Then, once more calling to Him the Twelve, He began to tell them what was about to happen to Him. |

They will condemn Him to death, and will hand Him over to the Gentiles; |
Mark 10:34 | And they will make sport of him, and put shame on him, and give him cruel blows, and will put him to death; and after three days he will come back from the dead. | and they shall mock him, and scourge him, and spit on him, and kill him, and the third day he shall rise again.` | they will insult Him in cruel sport, spit on Him, scourge Him, and put Him to death; but on the third day He will rise to life again." |

Mark 10:38 | But Jesus said to them, You have no knowledge of what you are saying. Are you able to take of my cup? or to undergo the baptism which I am to undergo? | and Jesus said to them, `Ye have not known what ye ask; are ye able to drink of the cup that I drink of, and with the baptism that I am baptized with to be baptized?` | "You know not," said He, "what you are asking. Are you able to drink out of the cup from which I am to drink, or to be baptized with the baptism with which I am to be baptized?" |
Mark 10:39 | And they said to him, We are able. And Jesus said to them, You will take of the cup from which I take; and the baptism which I am about to undergo you will undergo: | And they said to him, `We are able;` and Jesus said to them, `Of the cup indeed that I drink of, ye shall drink, and with the baptism that I am baptized with, ye shall be baptized; | "We are able," they replied. "Out of the cup," said Jesus, "from which I am to drink you shall drink, and with the baptism with which I am to be baptized you shall be baptized; |
Mark 10:40 | But to be seated at my right hand or at my left is not for me to give: but it is for those for whom it has been made ready. | but to sit on my right and on my left, is not mine to give, but to those for whom it hath been prepared.` | but as to sitting at my right hand or at my left, that is not mine to give: it will be for those for whom it is reserved." |

Mark 10:43 | But it is not so among you: but whoever has a desire to become great among you, let him be your servant: | but not so shall it be among you; but whoever may will to become great among you, he shall be your minister, | but it is not to be so among you. No, whoever desires to be great among you must be your servant; |
Mark 10:44 | And whoever has a desire to be first among you, let him be servant of all. | and whoever of you may will to become first, he shall be servant of all; | and whoever desires to be first among you must be the bondservant of all. |
Mark 10:45 | For truly the Son of man did not come to have servants, but to be a servant, and to give his life for the salvation of men. | for even the Son of Man came not to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.` | For the Son of Man also did not come to be waited upon, but to wait on others, and to give His life as the redemption-price for a multitude of people." |

Mark 10:48 | And some of them, turning in protest, gave him an order to be quiet: but he went on crying out all the more, Son of David, have mercy on me. | and many were rebuking him, that he might keep silent, but the more abundantly he cried out, `Son of David, deal kindly with me.` | Many angrily told him to leave off shouting; but he only cried out all the louder, "Son of David, have pity on me." |

"Rabboni," replied the blind man, "let me recover my sight." |
Mark 10:52 | And Jesus said to him, Go on your way; your faith has made you well.
