| Romans 6:1 | What may we say, then? are we to go on in sin so that there may be more grace? | What, then, shall we say? shall we continue in the sin that the grace may abound? | What will we say then? Will we continue in sin, that grace may abound? |
| Romans 6:2 | In no way. How may we, who are dead to sin, be living in it any longer? | let it not be! we who died to the sin how shall we still live in it? | Certainly not! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer? |
| Romans 6:3 | Or are you without the knowledge that all we who had baptism into Christ Jesus, had baptism into his death? | are ye ignorant that we, as many as were baptized to Christ Jesus, to his death were baptized? | Or don't you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? |
| Romans 6:4 | We have been placed with him among the dead through baptism into death: so that as Christ came again from the dead by the glory of the Father, we, in the same way, might be living in new life. | we were buried together, then, with him through the baptism to the death, that even as Christ was raised up out of the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we in newness of life might walk. | We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. |

Death no more has dominion over him! |
