| Romans 15:1 | But *we* ought, we that are strong, to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. | Now we that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. | We who are strong have to be a support to the feeble, and not give pleasure to ourselves. |
| Romans 15:2 | Let each one of us please his neighbour with a view to what is good, to edification. | Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, unto edifying. | Let every one of us give pleasure to his neighbour for his good, to make him strong. |
| Romans 15:3 | For the Christ also did not please himself; but according as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproach thee have fallen upon me. | For Christ also pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell upon me. | For Christ did not give pleasure to himself, but, as it is said, The bitter words of those who were angry with you came on me. |
| Romans 15:4 | For as many things as have been written before have been written for our instruction, that through endurance and through encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope. | For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that through patience and through comfort of the scriptures we might have hope. | Now those things which were put down in writing before our time were for our learning, so that through quiet waiting and through the comfort of the holy Writings we might have hope. |
| Romans 15:5 | Now the God of endurance and of encouragement give to you to be like-minded one toward another, according to Christ Jesus; | Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus: | Now may the God who gives comfort and strength in waiting make you of the same mind with one another in harmony with Christ Jesus: |

| Romans 15:12 | And again, Esaias says, There shall be the root of Jesse, and one that arises, to rule over [the] nations: in him shall [the] nations hope. | And again, Isaiah saith, There shall be the root of Jesse, And he that ariseth to rule over the Gentiles; On him shall the Gentiles hope. | And again Isaiah says, There will be the root of Jesse, and he who comes to be the ruler over the Gentiles; in him will the Gentiles put their hope. |
| Romans 15:13 | Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that ye should abound in hope by [the] power of [the] Holy Spirit. | Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit. | Now may the God of hope make you full of joy and peace through faith, so that all hope may be yours in the power of the Holy Spirit. |

| Romans 15:16 | for me to be minister of Christ Jesus to the nations, carrying on as a sacrificial service the [message of] glad tidings of God, in order that the offering up of the nations might be acceptable, sanctified by [the] Holy Spirit. | that I should be a minister of Christ Jesus unto the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit. | To be a servant of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, doing the work of a priest in the good news of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles might be pleasing to God, being made holy by the Holy Spirit. |

| Romans 15:20 | and so aiming to announce the glad tidings, not where Christ has been named, that I might not build upon another's foundation; | yea, making it my aim so to preach the gospel, not where Christ was [already] named, that I might not build upon another man's foundation; | Making it my purpose not to take the good news where Christ was named, so that my work might not be resting on that of others; |
| Romans 15:21 | but according as it is written, To whom there was nothing told concerning him, they shall see; and they that have not heard shall understand. | but, as it is written, They shall see, to whom no tidings of him came, And they who have not heard shall understand. | But as it is said in the holy Writings, They will see, to whom the news of him had not been given, and those to whose ears it had not come will have knowledge. |

| Romans 15:23 | But now, having no longer place in these regions, and having great desire to come to you these many years, | but now, having no more any place in these regions, and having these many years a longing to come unto you, | But now, having no longer any place in these parts and having had for a number of years a great desire to come to you, |
| Romans 15:24 | whenever I should go to Spain; (for I hope to see you as I go through, and by you to be set forward thither, if first I shall have been in part filled with your company;) | whensoever I go unto Spain (for I hope to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first in some measure I shall have been satisfied with your company)-- | Whenever I go to Spain (for it is my hope to see you on my way, and to be sent on there by you, if first I may in some measure have been comforted by your company) |
| Romans 15:25 | but now I go to Jerusalem, ministering to the saints; | but now, I [say], I go unto Jerusalem, ministering unto the saints. | But now I go to Jerusalem, taking help for the saints. |

| Romans 15:27 | They have been well pleased indeed, and they are their debtors; for if the nations have participated in their spiritual things, they ought also in fleshly to minister to them. | Yea, it hath been their good pleasure; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they owe it [to them] also to minister unto them in carnal things. | Yes, it has been their good pleasure; and they are in their debt. For if the Gentiles have had a part in the things of the Spirit which were theirs, it is right for them, in the same way, to give them help in the things of the flesh. |
| Romans 15:28 | Having finished this therefore, and having sealed to them this fruit, I will set off by you into Spain. | When therefore I have accomplished this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will go on by you unto Spain. | So when I have done this, and have given them this fruit of love, I will go on by you into Spain. |

| Romans 15:31 | that I may be saved from those that do not believe in Judaea; and that my ministry which [I have] for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints; | that I may be delivered from them that are disobedient in Judaea, and [that] my ministration which [I have] for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints; | So that I may be kept safe from those in Judaea who have not put themselves under the rule of God, and that the help which I am taking for Jerusalem may be pleasing to the saints; |
| Romans 15:32 | in order that I may come to you in joy by God's will, and that I may be refreshed with you. | that I may come unto you in joy through the will of God, and together with you find rest. | So that I may come to you in joy by the good pleasure of God, and have rest with you. |
| Romans 15:33 | And the God of peace be with you all. Amen. | Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen. | Now may the God of peace be with you all. So be it. |
