| Hebrews 8:1 | Now a summary of the things of which we are speaking [is], We have such a one high priest who has sat down on [the] right hand of the throne of the greatness in the heavens; | Now in the things which we are saying the chief point [is this]: We have such a high priest, who sat down on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, | Now of the things which we have spoken, this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of majesty in the heavens, |
| Hebrews 8:2 | minister of the holy places and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord has pitched, [and] not man. | a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man. | A minister of the holies, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord hath pitched, and not man. |
| Hebrews 8:3 | For every high priest is constituted for the offering both of gifts and sacrifices; whence it is needful that this one also should have something which he may offer. | For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is necessary that this [high priest] also have somewhat to offer. | For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is necessary that he also should have some thing to offer. |
| Hebrews 8:4 | If then indeed he were upon earth, he would not even be a priest, there being those who offer the gifts according to the law, | Now if he were on earth, he would not be a priest at all, seeing there are those who offer the gifts according to the law; | If then he were on earth, he would not be a priest: seeing that there would be others to offer gifts according to the law, |
| Hebrews 8:5 | (who serve the representation and shadow of heavenly things, according as Moses was oracularly told [when] about to make the tabernacle; for See, saith He, that thou make all things according to the pattern which has been shewn to thee in the mountain.) | who serve [that which is] a copy and shadow of the heavenly things, even as Moses is warned [of God] when he is about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern that was showed thee in the mount. | Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things. As it was answered to Moses, when he was to finish the tabernacle: See (saith he) that thou make all things according to the pattern which was shewn thee on the mount. |
| Hebrews 8:6 | But now he has got a more excellent ministry, by so much as he is mediator of a better covenant, which is established on the footing of better promises. | But now hath he obtained a ministry the more excellent, by so much as he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which hath been enacted upon better promises. | But now he hath obtained a better ministry, by how much also he is a mediator of a better testament, which is established on better promises. |

| Hebrews 8:11 | And they shall not teach each his fellow-citizen, and each his brother, saying, Know the Lord; because all shall know me in themselves, from [the] little one [among them] unto [the] great among them. | And they shall not teach every man his fellow-citizen, And every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: For all shall know me, From the least to the greatest of them. | And they shall not teach every man his neighbour and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me from the least to the greatest of them: |
| Hebrews 8:12 | Because I will be merciful to their unrighteousnesses, and their sins and their lawlessnesses I will never remember any more. | For I will be merciful to their iniquities, And their sins will I remember no more. | Because I will be merciful to their iniquities, and their sins I will remember no more. |
| Hebrews 8:13 | In that he says New, he has made the first old; but that which grows old and aged [is] near disappearing. | In that he saith, A new [covenant] he hath made the first old. But that which is becoming old and waxeth aged is nigh unto vanishing away. | Now in saying a new, he hath made the former old. And that which decayeth and groweth old, is near its end. |
