Matthew 15:2 | Why do thy disciples transgress what has been delivered by the ancients? for they do not wash their hands when they eat bread. | Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. | "Why do your disciples disobey the tradition of the elders? For they don't wash their hands when they eat bread." |
Matthew 15:3 | But he answering said to them, Why do *ye* also transgress the commandment of God on account of your traditional teaching? | And he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? | He answered them, "Why do you also disobey the commandment of God because of your tradition? |
Matthew 15:4 | For God commanded saying, Honour father and mother; and, He that speaks ill of father or mother, let him die the death. | For God said, Honor thy father and thy mother: and, He that speaketh evil of father or mother, let him die the death. | For God commanded, 'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.' |

Matthew 15:6 | and he shall in no wise honour his father or his mother; and ye have made void the commandment of God on account of your traditional teaching. | he shall not honor his father. Matthew 15:9 | but in vain do they worship me, teaching [as] teachings commandments of men. | But in vain do they worship me, Teaching [as their] doctrines the precepts of men. | But in vain do they worship me, Teaching as doctrine rules made by men.'" |

Matthew 15:13 | But he answering said, Every plant which my heavenly Father has not planted shall be rooted up. | But he answered and said, Every plant which my heavenly Father planted not, shall be rooted up. | But he answered, "Every plant which my heavenly Father didn't plant will be uprooted. |
Matthew 15:14 | Leave them alone; they are blind leaders of blind: but if blind lead blind, both will fall into a ditch. | Let them alone: they are blind guides. Matthew 15:17 | Do ye not yet apprehend, that everything that enters into the mouth finds its way into the belly, and is cast forth into the draught? | Perceive ye not, that whatsoever goeth into the mouth passeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? | Don't you understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the belly, and then out of the body? |
