| Romans 6:1 | What then shall we say? Should we continue in sin that grace may abound? | What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? | What will we say then? Will we continue in sin, that grace may abound? |
| Romans 6:2 | Far be the thought. We who have died to sin, how shall we still live in it? | God forbid. We who died to sin, how shall we any longer live therein? | Certainly not! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer? |
| Romans 6:3 | Are you ignorant that we, as many as have been baptised unto Christ Jesus, have been baptised unto his death? | Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? | Or don't you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? |
| Romans 6:4 | We have been buried therefore with him by baptism unto death, in order that, even as Christ has been raised up from among [the] dead by the glory of the Father, so *we* also should walk in newness of life. | We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. | We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. |
