| Genesis 15:1 | After these things the word of Jehovah came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram; I am thy shield, thy exceeding great reward. | After these things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Have no fear, Abram: I will keep you safe, and great will be your reward. | After these things the word of Jehovah came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, [and] thy exceeding great reward. |
| Genesis 15:2 | And Abram said, Lord Jehovah, what wilt thou give me? seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus. | And Abram said, What will you give me? for I have no child and this Eliezer of Damascus will have all my wealth after me. | And Abram said, O Lord Jehovah, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and he that shall be possessor of my house is Eliezer of Damascus? |
| Genesis 15:3 | And Abram said, Lo, to me thou hast given no seed, and behold, a son of my house will be mine heir. | And Abram said, You have given me no child, and a servant in my house will get the heritage. | And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. |
| Genesis 15:4 | And behold, the word of Jehovah [came] to him, saying, This shall not be thine heir, but he that will come forth out of thy body shall be thine heir. | Then said the Lord, This man will not get the heritage, but a son of your body will have your property after you. | And, behold, the word of Jehovah came unto him, saying, This man shall not be thine heir; But he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. |

And he said to him, So shall thy seed be! | And he took him out into the open air, and said to him, Let your eyes be lifted to heaven, and see if the stars may be numbered; even so will your seed be. | And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and number the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. |
