Exodus 26:1And thou shalt make the tabernacle [with] ten curtains of twined byssus, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubim of artistic work shalt thou make them.And you are to make a House for me, with ten curtains of the best linen, blue and purple and red, worked with designs of winged ones by a good workman.And thou shalt make the tabernacle in this manner: Thou shalt make ten curtains of fine twisted linen, and violet and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, diversified with embroidery.
Exodus 26:2The length of one curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits one measure for all the curtains.Every curtain is to be twenty-eight cubits long and four cubits wide, all of the same measure.The length of one curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits, the breadth shall be four cubits. All the curtains shall be of one measure.
Exodus 26:3Five of the curtains shall be coupled one to another, and [the other] five curtains coupled one to another.Five curtains are to be joined together, and the other five are to be joined together.Five curtains shall be joined one to another, and the other five shall be coupled together in like manner.
Exodus 26:4And thou shalt make loops of blue on the edge of the one curtain at the end of the coupling; and likewise shalt thou make [them] in the edge of the outermost curtain in the other coupling.And you are to put twists of blue cord on the edge of the outside curtain of the first group of five, and on the edge of the outside curtain of the second group of five;Thou shalt make loops of violet in the sides and tops of the curtains, that they may be joined one to another.
Exodus 26:5Fifty loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make at the end of the curtain in the other coupling: the loops shall be opposite to one another.Fifty twists on one curtain and fifty on the other, the twists to be opposite one another.Every curtain shall have fifty loops on both sides, so set on, that one loop may be against another loop, and one may be fitted to the other.
Exodus 26:6And thou shalt make fifty clasps of gold, and couple the curtains together with the clasps, that the tabernacle may be one [whole].Then make fifty gold hooks, joining the curtains together by the hooks, and in this way the House will be made.Thou shalt make also fifty rings of gold wherewith the veils of the curtains are to be joined, that it may be made one tabernacle.
Exodus 26:7And thou shalt make curtains of goats' [hair] for a tent over the tabernacle: eleven curtains shalt thou make them.And you are to make curtains of goats' hair for a tent over the House, eleven curtains.Thou shalt make also eleven curtains of goats' hair, to cover the top of the tabernacle.
Exodus 26:8The length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits one measure for the eleven curtains.Every curtain is to be thirty cubits long and four cubits wide, all of the same measure.The length of one hair curtain shall be thirty cubits: and the breadth four: the measure of all the curtains shall be equal.
Exodus 26:9And thou shalt couple five of the curtains by themselves, and six of the curtains by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain in the front of the tent.Five of these curtains are to be joined together, and the other six are to be joined together, the sixth being folded over to make a hanging in front of the tent.Five of which thou shalt couple by themselves, and the six others thou shalt couple one to another, so as to double the sixth curtain in the front of the roof.
Exodus 26:10And thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the outermost curtain of the coupling, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain in the other coupling.And you are to put fifty twists of cord on the edge of the outside curtain of one group, and fifty twists on the edge of the outside curtain of the other group.Thou shalt make also fifty loops in the edge of one curtain, that it may be joined with the other: and fifty loops in the edge of the other curtain, that it may be coupled with its fellow.
Exodus 26:11And thou shalt make fifty clasps of copper, and put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent, that it may be one [whole].Then make fifty brass hooks and put the hooks into the twists, joining the tent together to make it one.Thou shalt make also fifty buckles of brass, wherewith the loops may be joined, that of all there may be made one covering.
Exodus 26:12And that which remaineth hanging over of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the rear of the tabernacle.And the folded part which is over of the curtains of the tent, the half-curtain which is folded back, will be hanging down over the back of the House.And that which shall remain of the curtains, that are prepared for the roof, to wit, one curtain that is over and above, with the half thereof thou shalt cover the back parts of the tabernacle.
Exodus 26:13And the cubit on the one side, and the cubit on the other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent, shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it.And the cubit which is over of the ten curtains at the sides will be hanging over the two sides of the House as a cover.And there shall hang down a cubit on the one side, and another on the other side, which is over and above in the length of the curtains, fencing both sides of the tabernacle.
Exodus 26:14And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers' skins over [that].And then you are to make a cover for the tent, of sheepskins coloured red, and a cover of leather over that.Thou shalt make also another cover to the roof, of rams' skins dyed red; and over that again another cover of violet coloured skins.
Exodus 26:15And the boards for the tabernacle thou shalt make of acacia-wood, standing up;And you are to make upright boards of hard wood for the House.Thou shalt make also the boards of the tabernacle standing upright of setim wood.
Exodus 26:16ten cubits the length of the board, and a cubit and a half the breadth of one board.Every board is to be ten cubits high and a cubit and a half wide.Let every one of them be ten cubits in length, and in breadth on cubit and a half.
Exodus 26:17One board shall have two tenons, connected one with the other: thus shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle.Every board is to be joined to the one nearest to it by two tongues, and so for every board in the House.In the sides of the boards shall be made two mortises, whereby one board may be joined to another board: and after this manner shall all the boards be prepared.
Exodus 26:18And thou shalt make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the south side southward.These are the boards needed for the house; twenty boards for the south side,Of which twenty shall be in the south side southward.
Exodus 26:19And thou shalt make forty bases of silver under the twenty boards; two bases under one board for its two tenons, and two bases under another board for its two tenons.With forty silver bases under the twenty boards, two bases under every board to take its tongues.For which thou shalt cast forty sockets of silver, that under every board may be put two sockets at the two corners.
Exodus 26:20And for the other side of the tabernacle on the north side there shall be twenty boards.And twenty boards for the second side of the house on the north,In the second side also the tabernacle that looketh to the north, there shall be twenty boards,
Exodus 26:21And their forty bases of silver; two bases under one board, and two bases under another board.With their forty silver bases, two under every board.Having forty sockets of silver, two sockets shall be put under each board.
Exodus 26:22And for the rear of the tabernacle westward thou shalt make six boards.And six boards for the back of the House on the west,But on the west side of the tabernacle thou shalt make six boards.
Exodus 26:23And two boards shalt thou make for the corners of the tabernacle at the rear;With two boards for the angles of the House at the back.And again other two which shall be erected in the corners at the back of the tabernacle.
Exodus 26:24and they shall be joined beneath, and together shall be united at the top thereof to one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners.The two are to be joined together at the base and at the top to one ring, forming the two angles.And they shall be joined together from beneath unto the top, and one joint shall hold them all. The like joining shall be observed for the two boards also that are to be put in the corners.
Exodus 26:25And there shall be eight boards, and their bases, of silver, sixteen bases; two bases under one board, and two bases under another board.So there are to be eight boards, with their sixteen silver bases, two bases under every board.And they shall be in all eight boards, and their silver sockets sixteen, reckoning two sockets for each board.
Exodus 26:26And thou shalt make bars of acacia-wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,And make rods of the same wood, five for the boards on the one side,Thou shalt make also five bars of setim wood, to hold together the boards on one side of the tabernacle.
Exodus 26:27and five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle at the rear westward;And five for the boards on the other side of the House, and five for the west side of the House at the back.And five others on the other side, and as many at the west side:
Exodus 26:28and the middle bar in the midst of the boards reaching from one end to the other.And the middle rod is to go through the rings of all the boards from end to end.And they shall be put along by the midst of the boards from one end to the other.
Exodus 26:29And thou shalt overlay the boards with gold, and make [of] gold their rings, the receptacles of the bars, and shalt overlay the bars with gold.And the boards are to be plated with gold, having gold rings for the rods to go through: and the rods are to be plated with gold.The boards also themselves thou shalt overlay with gold, and shall cast rings of gold to be set upon them, for places for the bars to hold together boardwork: which bars thou shalt cover with plates of gold.
Exodus 26:30And thou shalt set up the tabernacle according to its fashion, as hath been shewn thee on the mountain.And you are to make the House from the design which you saw on the mountain.And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the pattern that was shewn thee in the mount.
Exodus 26:31And thou shalt make a veil of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus; of artistic work shall it be made, with cherubim.And you are to make a veil of the best linen, blue and purple and red, worked with designs of winged ones by a good workman:Thou shalt make also a veil of violet and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine twisted linen, wrought with embroidered work, and goodly variety:
Exodus 26:32And thou shalt attach it to four pillars of acacia-wood overlaid with gold, their hooks of gold; they shall be on four bases of silver.Hanging it by gold hooks from four pillars of wood, plated with gold and fixed in silver bases.And thou shalt hang it up before four pillars of setim wood, which themselves also shall be overlaid with gold, and shall have heads of gold, but sockets of silver.
Exodus 26:33And thou shalt bring the veil under the clasps, and bring in thither, inside the veil, the ark of the testimony; and the curtain shall make a division to you between the holy [place] and the holiest of all.And you are to put up the veil under the hooks, and put inside it the ark of the law: the veil is to be a division between the holy place and the most holy.And the veils shall be hanged on with rings, and within it thou shalt put the ark of the testimony, and the sanctuary, and the holy of holies shall be divided with it.
Exodus 26:34And thou shalt put the mercy-seat on the ark of the testimony in the holiest of all.You are to put the cover on the ark of the law, inside the most holy place.And thou shalt set the propitiatory upon the ark of the testimony in the holy of holies.
Exodus 26:35And thou shalt set the table outside the veil, and the lamp-stand opposite to the table on the side of the tabernacle southward; and thou shalt put the table on the north side.And outside the veil you are to put the table, and the support for the lights opposite the table on the south side of the House; and the table is to be on the north side.And the table without the veil: and over against the table the candlestick in the south side of the tabernacle; for the table shall stand in the north side.
Exodus 26:36And thou shalt make for the entrance of the tent a curtain of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus, of embroidery.And you are to make a curtain for the doorway of the Tent, of the best linen with needlework of blue and purple and red.Thou shalt make also a hanging in the entrance of the tabernacle of violet and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine twisted linen with embroidered work.
Exodus 26:37And thou shalt make for the curtain five pillars of acacia[-wood], and overlay them with gold; their hooks shall be of gold; and thou shalt cast five bases of copper for them.And make five pillars for the curtain, of hard wood plated with gold; their hooks are to be of gold and their bases of brassAnd thou shalt overlay with gold five pillars of setim wood, before which the hanging shall be drawn: their heads shall be of gold, and the sockets of brass.
