| Romans 8:1 | [There is] then now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus. | For this cause those who are in Christ Jesus will not be judged as sinners. | There is now therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh. |
| Romans 8:2 | For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and of death. | For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. | For the law of the spirit of life, in Christ Jesus, hath delivered me from the law of sin and of death. |
| Romans 8:3 | For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, having sent his own Son, in likeness of flesh of sin, and for sin, has condemned sin in the flesh, | For what the law was not able to do because it was feeble through the flesh, God, sending his Son in the image of the evil flesh, and as an offering for sin, gave his decision against sin in the flesh: | For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh; God sending his own Son, in the likeness of sinful flesh and of sin, hath condemned sin in the flesh; |

For we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit himself asketh for us with unspeakable groanings. |
| Romans 8:27 | But he who searches the hearts knows what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because he intercedes for saints according to God. | And he who is the searcher of hearts has knowledge of the mind of the Spirit, because he is making prayers for the saints in agreement with the mind of God. | And he that searcheth the hearts, knoweth what the Spirit desireth; because he asketh for the saints according to God. |
