1st-Kings 7:1And Solomon was thirteen years building his own house; and he finished all his house.Solomon was thirteen years building a house for himself till it was complete.But Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.
1st-Kings 7:2And he built the house of the forest of Lebanon; its length was a hundred cubits, and its breadth fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar-pillars, with cedar-beams upon the pillars;And he made the house of the Woods of Lebanon, which was a hundred cubits long and fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high, resting on four lines of cedar-wood pillars with cedar-wood supports on the pillars.He built also the house of the forest of Lebanon; its length was a hundred cubits, and its breadth fifty cubits, and its hight thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.
1st-Kings 7:3and it was covered with cedar above upon the side-chambers, which were on forty-five pillars, fifteen in a row.And it was covered with cedar over the forty-five supports which were on the pillars, fifteen in a line.And it was covered with cedar above upon the beams, that lay on forty-five pillars, fifteen in a row.
1st-Kings 7:4And there were cross-beams in three rows, and window was against window in three ranks.There were three lines of window-frames, window facing window in every line.And there were windows in three rows, and light was against light in three ranks.
1st-Kings 7:5And all the doors and posts were square, with an architrave; and window was against window in three ranks.And all the doors and windows had square frames, with the windows facing one another in three lines.And all the doors and posts were square, with the windows: and light was against light in three ranks.
1st-Kings 7:6And he made the porch of pillars; its length was fifty cubits, and its breadth thirty cubits; and there was a porch in front of them; and there were pillars, and steps in front of them.And he made a covered room of pillars, fifty cubits long and thirty cubits wide, and ... with steps before it.And he made a porch of pillars; its length was fifty cubits, and its breadth thirty cubits: and the porch was before them: and the other pillars and the thick beams were before them.
1st-Kings 7:7And he made the porch for the throne where he judged, the porch of judgment; and it was covered with cedar from floor to floor.Then he made a covered room for his high seat when he gave decisions; this was the covered room of judging; it was covered with cedar-wood from floor to roof.Then he made a porch for the throne where he might judge, even the porch of judgment: and it was covered with cedar from one side of the floor to the other.
1st-Kings 7:8And his house where he dwelt had another court within the porch, which was of the like work. And he made, like to this porch, a house for Pharaoh's daughter, whom Solomon had taken.And the house for his living-place, the other open square in the covered room, was made in the same way. And then he made a house like it for Pharaoh's daughter, whom Solomon had taken as his wife.And his house where he dwelt had another court within the porch, which was of the like work. Solomon made also a house for Pharaoh's daughter, whom he had married, like to this porch.
1st-Kings 7:9All these [buildings] were of costly stones, hewn stones, according to the measures, sawed with saws, within and without, even from the foundation to the coping, and on the outside as far as the great court.All these buildings were made, inside and out, from base to crowning stone, and outside to the great walled square, of highly priced stone, cut to different sizes with cutting-instruments.All these were of costly stones, according to the measures of hewn stones, sawed with saws, within and without, even from the foundation to the coping, and so on the outside towards the great court.
1st-Kings 7:10And the foundations were of costly stones, great stones, stones of ten cubits and stones of eight cubits.And the base was of great masses of highly priced stone, some ten cubits and some eight cubits square.And the foundation was of costly stones, even great stones; stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits.
1st-Kings 7:11And above were costly stones, hewn stones, according to the measures, and cedar.Overhead were highly priced stones cut to measure, and cedar-wood.And above were costly stones, after the measures of hewn stones, and cedars.
1st-Kings 7:12And the great court round about had three rows of hewn stones, and a row of cedar-beams; and so it was for the inner court of the house of Jehovah, and the porch of the house.The great outer square all round was walled with three lines of squared stones and a line of cedar-wood boards, round about the open square inside the house of the Lord and the covered room of the king's house.And the great court around was with three rows of hewn stones, and a row of cedar beams, both for the inner court of the house of the LORD, and for the porch of the house.
1st-Kings 7:13And king Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre.Then King Solomon sent and got Hiram from Tyre.And king Solomon sent and brought Hiram out of Tyre.
1st-Kings 7:14He was a widow's son of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass; and he was full of wisdom and understanding and knowledge, to do all kinds of works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and made all his work.He was the son of a widow of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass; he was full of wisdom and knowledge and an expert worker in brass. He came to King Solomon and did all his work for him.He was a widow's son of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass: and he was filled with wisdom, and understanding, and ingenious to work all works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work.
1st-Kings 7:15And he formed the two pillars of brass; the height of one pillar was eighteen cubits, and a line of twelve cubits encompassed the second pillar.He it was who made the two brass pillars; the first pillar was eighteen cubits high, and a line of twelve cubits went round it; and the second was the same.For he cast two pillars of brass, each of eighteen cubits high: and a line of twelve cubits did encompass each of them.
1st-Kings 7:16And he made two capitals of molten brass, to set upon the tops of the pillars; the height of the one capital was five cubits, and the height of the other capital was five cubits;And he made the two crowns to be put on the tops of the pillars, of brass made soft in the fire; the crowns were five cubits high.And he made two capitals of molten brass, to set upon the tops of the pillars: the hight of the one capital was five cubits, and the hight of the other capital was five cubits:
1st-Kings 7:17[and] nets of checker-work, wreaths of chain-work, for the capitals which were upon the top of the pillars; seven for the one capital and seven for the other capital.There were nets of open-work for the crowns on the tops of the pillars, a net of open-work for one and a net of open-work for the other.And nets of checker-work, and wreaths of chain-work, for the capitals which were upon the top of the pillars; seven for the one capital, and seven for the other capital.
1st-Kings 7:18And he made pomegranates, namely two rows round about upon the one network, to cover the capitals that were upon the top of the pillars; and so he did for the other capital.And he made ornaments of apples; and two lines of apples all round over the network, covering the crowns of the pillars, the two crowns in the same way.And he made the pillars, and two rows around upon the one net-work, to cover the capitals that were upon the top, with pomegranates: and so he did for the other capital.
1st-Kings 7:19And the capitals that were upon the top of the pillars were of lily-work [as] in the porch, four cubits.The crowns on the tops of the pillars were ornamented with a design of flowers, and were four cubits across.And the capitals that were upon the top of the pillars were of lily-work in the porch, four cubits.
1st-Kings 7:20And the capitals upon the two pillars, above also, close to the enlargement which was behind the network, had two hundred pomegranates in rows round about, [also] on the other capital.And there were crowns on the two pillars near the round part by the network, and there were two hundred apples in lines round every crown.And the capitals upon the two pillars had pomegranates also above, over against the belly which was by the net-work: and the pomegranates were two hundred in rows around upon the other capital.
1st-Kings 7:21And he set up the pillars for the porch of the temple; and he set up the right pillar, and called its name Jachin; and he set up the left pillar, and called its name Boaz.He put up the pillars at the doorway of the Temple, naming the one on the right Jachin, and that on the left Boaz.And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called its name Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called its name Boaz.
1st-Kings 7:22And upon the top of the pillars was lily-work; and the work of the pillars was finished.The tops of the pillars had a design of flowers; and the work of making the pillars was complete.And upon the top of the pillars was lily-work: so was the work of the pillars finished.
1st-Kings 7:23And he made the sea, molten, ten cubits from brim to brim, round all about; and its height was five cubits; and a line of thirty cubits encompassed it round about.And he made a great metal water-vessel ten cubits across from edge to edge, five cubits high and thirty cubits round.And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was entirely round, and its hight was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits encompassed it.
1st-Kings 7:24And under the brim of it round about there were colocynths, encompassing it, ten in a cubit enclosing the sea round about; two rows of colocynths, cast when it was cast.And under the edge of it, circling it all round for ten cubits, were two lines of flower buds, made together with it from liquid metal.And under the brim of it around there were knobs compassing it, ten in a cubit, compassing the sea around: the knobs were cast in two rows, when it was cast.
1st-Kings 7:25It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east; and the sea was above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.It was supported on twelve oxen, with their back parts turned to the middle of it, three of them facing to the north, three to the west, three to the south, and three to the east; the vessel was resting on top of them.It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking towards the north, and three looking towards the west, and three looking towards the south, and three looking towards the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
1st-Kings 7:26And its thickness was a hand-breadth, and its brim was like the work of the brim of a cup, with lily-blossoms; it held two thousand baths.It was as thick as a man's open hand, and was curved like the edge of a cup, like the flower of a lily: it would take two thousand baths.And it was a hand-breadth thick, and its brim was wrought like the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies: it contained two thousand baths.
1st-Kings 7:27And he made ten bases of brass: four cubits was the length of one base, and the breadth four cubits, and the height three cubits.And he made ten wheeled bases of brass; every one four cubits long, four cubits wide, and three cubits high.And he made ten bases of brass; four cubits was the length of one base, and four cubits the breadth of it, and three cubits the hight of it.
1st-Kings 7:28And the work of the bases was this: they had panels, and the panels were between the fillets.And the bases were made in this way; their sides were square, fixed in a framework;And the work of the bases was in this manner: They had borders, and the borders were between the ledges:
1st-Kings 7:29And on the panels that were between the fillets were lions, oxen and cherubim; and over the fillets there was a base above; and beneath the lions and oxen were garlands of festoon-work.And on the square sides between the frames were lions, oxen, and winged ones; and the same on the frame; and over and under the lions and the oxen and the winged ones were steps.And on the borders that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubim: and upon the ledges there was a base above: and beneath the lions and oxen were certain additions made of thin work.
1st-Kings 7:30And every base had four wheels of brass, and axles of brass; and on its four corners were shoulder-pieces: under the laver were shoulder-pieces molten, behind every garland.Every base had four wheels of brass, turning on brass rods, and their four angles had angle-plates under them; the angle-plates under the base were of metal, and there were ornaments at the side of every one.And every base had four brazen wheels, and plates of brass: and the four corners of it had undersetters: under the laver were undersetters molten, at the side of every addition.
1st-Kings 7:31And the mouth of it within the crown and above was a cubit; and its mouth was rounded, [as] the work of the base, a cubit and a half; and also upon its mouth was sculpture; but their panels were square, not round.The mouth of it inside the angle-plate was one cubit across; it was round like a pillar, a cubit and a half across; it had designs cut on it; the sides were square, not round.And the mouth of it within the capital and above was a cubit: but the mouth of it was round after the work of the base, a cubit and a half: and also upon the mouth of it were gravings with their borders, foursquare, not round.
1st-Kings 7:32And the four wheels were under the panels; and the supports of the wheels were in the base; and the height of a wheel was a cubit and half a cubit.The four wheels were under the frames, and the rods on which the wheels were fixed were in the base; the wheels were a cubit and a half high.And under the borders were four wheels; and the axletrees of the wheels were joined to the base: and the hight of a wheel was a cubit and half a cubit.
1st-Kings 7:33And the work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel: their supports, and their rims, and their spokes and their naves were all molten.The wheels were made like carriage-wheels, the rods on which they were fixed, the parts forming their edges, their rods and the middle points of them, were all formed out of liquid metal.And the work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel: their axletrees, and their naves, and their fellies, and their spokes, were all molten.
1st-Kings 7:34And there were four shoulder-pieces to the four corners of one base; of the base itself were its shoulder-pieces.And there were four angle-plates at the four angles of every base, forming part of the structure of the base.And there were four undersetters to the four corners of one base: and the undersetters were of the very base itself.
1st-Kings 7:35And in the top of the base there was a circular elevation of half a cubit round about; and on the top of the base its stays and its panels were of the same.And at the top of the base there was a round vessel, half a cubit high;And in the top of the base was there a round compass of half a cubit high: and on the top of the base its ledges and its borders were of the same.
1st-Kings 7:36And he engraved on the plates of its stays and on its panels cherubim, lions and palm-trees, according to the space upon each; and garlands were round about.In the spaces of the flat sides and on the frames of them, he made designs of winged ones, lions, and palm-trees, with ornamented edges all round.For on the plates of its ledges, and on its borders, he graved cherubim, lions, and palm trees, according to the proportion of every one, and additions around.
1st-Kings 7:37After this [manner] he made the ten bases: all of them had one casting, one measure, one form.All the ten bases were made in this way, after the same design, of the same size and form.After this manner he made the ten bases: all of them had one casting, one measure, and one size.
1st-Kings 7:38And he made ten lavers of brass: one laver contained forty baths; every laver was four cubits; upon every one of the ten bases one laver.And he made ten brass washing-vessels, everyone taking forty baths, and measuring four cubits; one vessel was placed on every one of the ten bases.Then he made ten lavers of brass: one laver contained forty baths: and every laver was four cubits: and upon every one of the ten bases one laver.
1st-Kings 7:39And he put the bases, five on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house; and he set the sea on the right side of the house eastward, over against the south.And he put the bases by the house, five on the right side and five on the left; and he put the great water-vessel on the right side of the house, to the east, facing south.And he put five bases on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house: and he set the sea on the right side of the house eastward over against the south.
1st-Kings 7:40And Hiram made the lavers, and the shovels, and the bowls. So Hiram ended doing all the work that he made for king Solomon [for] the house of Jehovah:And Hiram made the pots and spades and the basins. So Hiram came to the end of all the work he did for King Solomon in the house of the Lord:And Hiram made the lavers, and the shovels, and the basins. So Hiram made an end of doing all the work that he executed for king Solomon for the house of the LORD:
1st-Kings 7:41two pillars, and the globes of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars, two; and the two networks, to cover the two globes of the capitals which were on the top of the pillars;The two pillars and the two cups of the crowns which were on the tops of the two pillars; and the network covering the two cups of the crowns on the tops of the pillars,The two pillars, and the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the two pillars; and the two net-works, to cover the two bowls of the capitals which were upon the top of the pillars;
1st-Kings 7:42and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, two rows of pomegranates for one network, to cover the two globes of the capitals which were upon the pillars;And the four hundred apples for the network, two lines of apples for every network, covering the two cups of the crowns on the pillars;And four hundred pomegranates for the two net-works, even two rows of pomegranates for one net-work, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were upon the pillars;
1st-Kings 7:43and the ten bases, and the ten lavers on the bases;And the ten bases, with the ten washing-vessels on them;And the ten bases, and ten lavers on the bases;
1st-Kings 7:44and one sea, and the twelve oxen under the sea;And the great water-vessel, with the twelve oxen under it;And one sea, and twelve oxen under the sea;
1st-Kings 7:45and the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls. And all these things, which Hiram made king Solomon for the house of Jehovah, were of bright brass.And the pots and the spades and the basins; all the vessels which Hiram made for King Solomon, for the house of the Lord, were of polished brass.And the pots, and the shovels, and the basins: and all these vessels which Hiram made to king Solomon for the house of the LORD, were of bright brass.
1st-Kings 7:46In the plain of the Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay-ground between Succoth and Zaretan.He made them of liquid metal in the lowland of Jordan, at the way across the river, at Adama, between Succoth and Zarethan.In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarthan.
1st-Kings 7:47And Solomon left all the vessels [unweighed] from their exceeding number; the weight of the brass was not ascertained.The weight of all these vessels was not measured, because there was such a number of them; it was not possible to get the weight of the brass.And Solomon left all the vessels unweighed, because they were very numerous: neither was the weight of the brass ascertained.
1st-Kings 7:48And Solomon made all the vessels that were [in] the house of Jehovah: the golden altar; and the table of gold, whereon was the shewbread;And Solomon had all the vessels made for use in the house of the Lord: the altar of gold and the gold table on which the holy bread was placed;And Solomon made all the vessels that pertained to the house of the LORD: the altar of gold, and the table of gold, upon which was the show-bread,
1st-Kings 7:49and the candlesticks of pure gold, five on the right, and five on the left, before the oracle; and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold,And the supports for the lights, five on the right side and five on the left before the inmost room, of clear gold; and the flowers and the lights and all the instruments of gold;And the candlesticks of pure gold, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the oracle, with the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold,
1st-Kings 7:50and the basons, and the knives, and the bowls, and the cups, and the censers of pure gold; and the hinges of gold, for the folding-doors of the inner house, the most holy place, [and] for the doors of the house, of the temple.And the cups and the scissors and the basins and the spoons and the fire-trays, all of gold; and the pins on which the doors were turned, the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and the doors of the Temple, all of gold.And the bowls, and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and the censers of pure gold; and the hinges of gold, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, to wit, of the temple.
1st-Kings 7:51And all the work was finished that king Solomon made for the house of Jehovah. And Solomon brought in the things that David his father had dedicated; the silver and the gold and the vessels he put among the treasures of the house of Jehovah.So all the work King Solomon had done in the house of the Lord was complete. Then Solomon took the holy things which David his father had given, the silver and the gold and all the vessels, and put them in the store-houses of the house of the Lord.So was ended all the work that king Solomon made for the house of the LORD. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated; even the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, he placed among the treasures of the house of the LORD.
