| Joshua 6:1 | Now Jericho was shut up and was barred, because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in. | (Now Jericho was all shut up because of the children of Israel: there was no going out or coming in.) | Now Jericho was tightly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in. |

| Joshua 6:26 | And Joshua swore at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before Jehovah who shall rise up and build this city Jericho!
